Consequently, I only took the occasional glance to see if things stayed in frame. Also, my phone's camera doesn't have image stabilisation, so as a newbie, I have edited the video to try and reduce the shakiness and smearing of textures. It hasn't helped a lot, but it has made the image quality a little clearer and more bearable, I think.

A lot of people assuming the sound during the show was sub par because of the sound check problems, but they hey did get it fixed for the show. During sound check the problem seemed to be with the in ear monitors. Asami could not hear herself and neither could the other members I believe They spent ages trying to get it to work. Eventually they all left the stage (for a break, a beer, tea who knows) but Miyako immediately came back and I think it was her efforts with the tech guy that got it all working. During the show Asami's vocals were great. and the rest of the band were sounding good as well. Right from the get go during the sound check there was no problem with Harunas drums. During the sound check when we were all herded in by management Asami got a surprise but soon she was casting little asides to the fans. She seemed in a great mood and she was such a fantastic front woman during the show.

Just can't stop admiring Haruna's drumming. She's a machine - a very beautiful one! Group looks better without the costumes. Btw is it just me, or is Miyako's guitar a bit our of tune? The very first drop-D sounds sound bit weird - could be normal considering it's just a soundcheck with probably new strings still stretchin... Anyway nice vid, cool to see them so close and with normal clothes. I think I'm in love with Haruna 😁🫶
@_Ziyi4 ай бұрын
Not sure about the tuning as I'm not a musician, but that reminded me about later in the actual show, I clicked to start recording but completely failed to record the last 2 songs. During the start of last two encore songs, her High E? string (Bottom one) snapped. She quickly pulled it away and started re-tuning the other strings to compensate, while still playing using her left hand ✋
I just read they've had a sound engineer join them for the rest of their shows, Midori said on her Instagram page "Our new sound engineer guy just joined the team🔥 Things are going to be more smooth and accurate" Google による翻訳。 残りのショーに音響エンジニアが加わったと読みました。ミドリは Instagram ページで「新しい音響エンジニアがチームに加わりました。 物事はよりスムーズで正確になります」とコメントしました。
Well, sounds great even for being recorded by the most awful recording device ever a.k.a. a phone, but thank you for the video!, this kind of videos are so much fun to watch, makes you feel like you are right there!. Side note: The drummer is such a badass metronome, great musicians and great band, will search for more music from them !!!!

I arrived at the New Cross Inn about 3:15 p.m. The door opening time for non-VIPs was 6 p.m.; VIPs entered at 5:30 p.m. Lovebites were supposed to start their show at 7 p.m. according to the original tickets, but about 2 weeks before the gig, emails were sent out letting everyone know the start time had changed to 8 p.m. I arrived to their other London show at The Garage about 2 p.m. The doors were set to open at 7 p.m. (6:30 p.m. for VIPs), with a show start time of 8 p.m. Bare in mind that there were approximately 50 people each show who bought VIP tickets, so they got front row as they entered 30 minutes earlier, but because I was so early, there were less than 10 other normal ticket holders in queue ahead of me each time, so I still managed to get up front, but only just.

I do wonder if the bands' agency checked the venues they are booked to play. Honestly it's pharisaical- The New Cross Inn- 350 capacity. Personally I don't mid- I've got a ticket for the added show at the Garage in London- capacity 600. I guess that they were not sure about the interest in the band.
@mysticaloha5 ай бұрын
I am not aware of how they can sell in UK... In Belgium their show had been sold out for a while in the 300 people capacity venue, so they probably could have filled a 400 one. Many people came from France, Switzerland, Luxembourg to fill that venue. In Paris next week they will play a 500 people place, and the tour production keeps advertising daily on Internet begging to sell those tickets... They might end giving away tickets (I discovered them in Paris back in 2018 on a given away ticket).

I'm hoping that their festival appearances will get them back on track to actually being seen and heard in the Western world, after the stall from co√|d and Miho's departure. So many people have no idea they exist because they've basically had zero promotion outside of Japan, except for word of mouth by fans.

Just as an experiment. I remembered that they did show the audience a lot in "We the united" 2023 in Japan. So, I looked at it now, and the audience is almost entirely male. Maybe not unusual for metal. But maybe a bit to male only. Impossible to tell age. Hard for Japanese people, at least for me. And maybe half of them wears mask. Five beautifully dressed attractive ladies and an audience of nearly only males. Just as a side point, I do not think males are all that interested in dresses. Which makes it weird on another level. Now, to take it down on earth a bit. I love their music and I am an old male. It does not hurt that they are attractive, But their music is top notch.
