I took my best friend to be with me when I took my shahada. My muslim sponsor met my friend and prevented him from entering the mosque because he was "dirty" That was in 2001 and that event marked him to this day.

I believe it is really hard being a revert anywhere in the world. In 3rd world countries, you depend much on your family's wealth. And, most reverts lose inheritance. It becomes really hard.

I understand your struggle brother. I'm a revert too in Europe. I lost my friends, It's really hard to find a wife as a revert man and even my family do not understand what I am doing and I feel like they looking at me like I'm crazy or something.
