i think another good series that isn't really tied to the mcu and can be a stand alone is moon knight. really hope it gets a second season one day

People the movie existed. When you see things like this it means legal issues with the movie or problem with directors are the reason. They sign documents never to speak on it. A good friend has a copy! I've seen the movie! Yet this video says it doesn't exist? Again it's because of legal issues the public is not aware of.

how do we ALL remember something so oddly specific? that sinbad was a genie named kazaam. We remember the actor and the name of the movie. All the same memory. There was shazaam and kazaam and i remember thinking it was odd that there were TWO when i was a kid.. The fact that we all remember the same oddity is proof it existed. If i say donald trump played james bond that wouldn't click with anyone because it didnt happen. But the sinbad thing was absolutely real

Personally, I agree that Toy Story 3 is the perfect ending to the saga. The fourth one is a disgusting movie. And the fifth movie will be worse. That "toys vs. technology" thing sounds stupid. What's more, that's already been seen within the Toy Story universe in 2014. If the fourth movie had had the "toys vs. technology" storyline, it could have been awesome. But the writers didn't think of that before.

This movie is an incredible point of view. In Man of Stell as well as in BvS, Superman saves people in some scenes (not that much, I've to admit, yet, he saves people). Let's count the scenes : - the military man falling from the helicopter ; - the girl trapped in the building blaze ; - the big cargo trapped within iceberg ; - the astronauts saved from an explosion on a launchpad ; - the family trapped on a house rooftop during floods. As I said above, it's a question of perspective : Zack Snyder storytelling choices was not to put the emphasis on Superman saving cats in trees. That was his point with Man of Steel. Yet, he managed to include scenes with Superman saving people. Snyder's perspective was indeed to show us how Clark Kent is trying to become The Kryptonian (not even Superman - at least in what Snyder showed us in Man of Steel). Yet, because some people (yes, SOME, not that much) didn't see Superman saved cats in trees they went nuts and assume Snyder's Superman is too dark, or even nihilist. It's quite weird in addition since BvS storyline for instance gets inspiration from The Dark Knight comics. Zack didn't create this iteration of Superman out of the blue. I'm open to discussion.

i just finished watching it and jumped into movie essays to see if anyone else thinks that the vfx is insane. yeah there are a lot of stupid parts but there are also badass moments. the fight with Abigor for example, the shot when he ignited the chains and the camera panned to his face, fantastic. i wish we could see a GOOD. MCU. Ghost Rider movie. and may it be the actual first horror MCU movie because man screw Multiverse of Madness

I still go back to my ps2 games from time to time. I have 70+. What’s interesting is as the consoles got more advance, the number of games I own for that console goes down. To the point where I don’t even own a physical copy of a ps5 game

Because the hero is vulnerable. Nothing more boring than an action movie with a hero who doesn’t even get scratched. Seen the KZbin videos about the new Captain falcon yet? He slices through missile explosions unscathed.

The thing is, theres no set rules, and all the ratings are decided by the interpretation of the board members. But the thing is, the MPAA's board members are forever changing. Unlike congress, there are term limits to how long you can be on the MPAA's board. I believe its something like 3 years. So after 3 years, you have a completely different board. So a movie that gets an R rating today, might've only gotten a PG-13 had it been released 3 years prior. But times change, and tastes change. Back in the 90s, every Disney movie was rated G because they were "cartoons" and "kid stuff." The Lion King was rated G. But a Disney film hasn't gotten a G rating in almost a decade. Despite them being no different than they were in the 90s. And they just don't seem to give out G ratings anymore. They used to give out G ratings like they were going out of style. And apparently they have gone out of style. Because in 2023, there was a total of zero G-Rated movies released. Even The Paw Patrol Movie was rated PG. Thats a movie for literal pre-schoolers, and that wasn't even rated G.

Why bring colour into it? at 5:03 colour has nothing to do with the characters the actors are playing, it's just a virtue signal, When I watched die hard in the cinema in the summer 1988, Nobody said anything about who is black and what a good character they were, Such bullshit and turns me right off.
@Plathismo13 күн бұрын
Yeah, its' a bizarre detour. Virtuous black characters in movies were not invented in 1988. (Although Theo, while intelligent, was not even virtuous.)
@Justdisco213 күн бұрын
@ You kidding me, I’m not talking about the characters or actors being virtuous back in 1988 I’m talking about the narrator on this video.

For me, the downfall of the show was introducing Bernadette. The character was completely unnecessary as Howard did not need a girlfriend. The comedy of the show (apart from Sheldon being Sheldon) was the Laural and Hardy esq relationship between Howard and Raj. Pairing Howard off with an overbearing pain in the ass like Bernadette killed him as a character, and left Raj with nothing to do. Also, Bernadette brought nothing to the show and wasn't funny.

Monsterverse is more well known because they've been around so long and people love them so much and the companies that own them respect their fans. Unlike the DCEU, it was never given a chance. It was a great universe to the hardcore DC fans, until the crybabies came in and took it from Snyder, changing the regime with a soft reboot just to please their pathetic garbage fans.

I was born in 1974, and I clearly remember Sinbad in Shazaam. I used to watch his comedy specials on cable/satellite. I also remembering that Kazaam with Shaq was a cheap knockoff of Shazaam even though I was/am a fan of Shaq as well. The belief that people mix up Shaq and Sinbad is kinda crazy to me, since they look nothing alike.
