He is going places. Take it from an experienced Jiu Jitsu athlete, if he trains hard like he is now for his life he will be unstoppable. (Those arm bars were clean)

I call bullshit. Not one real submission. The ref tapped for him. The other kids all looked confused as to why the match was stopped. My son is the same age and would smash this kid in a real Bjj match.

@@Trumpdobealoser I guess we do things different in Stockton. My sons would not tap to that crap and would easily escaped. That boy would have never gotten that far to begin with but in Stockton we train our kids the same way we do the adults. Not all of us are in mcdojos I guess.

I'm so lost?!? This is the 3rd video I've seen and in every single one, his belt is 4-7 higher. But a white belt?!? How is your boy with 5 YEARS of experience vs a girl who has been doing BJJ 1-8 months even remotely fair? He seems very skilled but he's not expanding his skill set facing kids so far below his skill level. And he's not helping the sport grow by crushing white belts at their first tournament.

Shout out to the first ref who was really protecting the competitors! My only criticism is that of safety. I understand in competition your adrenaline is up so you might use a little more force than usual however, with the second judge that was letting the submission sink in a bit deeper it could lend itself to injury. The kid was sinking in the submissions quickly with a lot of force ( in my opinion) I think this kid will go far in BJJ.

That first ref was handing this kid the sub before it was even locked in, what are you talking about? These aren’t toddlers. I get his technicals are decent - he’s a yellow belt. Second ref was right on time
