There are/were literally thousands of ‘unknown’ singers, working audiences in restaurants & showcases all over NYC and all thru LA & nite clubs too for more than 40 yrs .. singing their song repertoire for free… or for dinner or even buying their own dinner to get on the roster. ..applauded from coast to coast .. some are known .. most only known by their peer circles. Nobody knows about these songbirds who freely go to their day job and then spending$ getting coached on their new pieces of Broadway tunes…stil perfecting their own style of the American Songbook. They are the musical angels of recent past decades .. no rhyme or reason .. just wanting to connect w an audience who might enjoy their personal art….

Oh how I wish I had found this video two years ago before my Father passed away. He loved Frank Sinatra and I know he would have enjoyed this. Dad knew all the songs and I can just hear him singing along. Sad memories don’t hurt that bad when great music lets you smile. ❤
