I know nation wide insures ferrets and I think a company called Pet Assure but I’m not 100% sure about Pet Assure.

That’s great! There are definitely lots of different ways to add a strap. This was the first time I made the bag and now that I’ve made several more I have definitely tweaked how I make them.

@@FerretTails mine is always trying to communicate with me. Every two weeks I will lift up my mattress to vacuum cuz that's his fur cave. LOL He has 3 beds and other things I pick them up , right after I vacuum he comes in the bedroom and sit by one at a time his BELONGINGS when I put it back he will run to the next one and look at me. I took a bed that the only time he went in it was the day I bought it, all afternoon. So I got it and showed it to someone it in another room and he was sleeping in another room, it might of been a minute or two he comes running in and jumps right in it. Calming it all afternoon again but has not been in it since then. Gotta love em, beautiful pets 💯❤️

@@user-ow1ib4sc6u I used pickled ferret juice, which is a treat oil that made up of is salmon oil, and emu oil. There’s no pickles in it. That’s just the name. @@FerretTails THANKS, I hate to scruff but need to when I trim his nails considering I'm at the vet once a month I trim on second week then I have the vet trim and clean ears when we go. I hate to scruff cuz it seems like he loses his eye sight which he does on and off even when we don't. He loves Salmon oil, he's being treated for insulinoma and he's coming to a point where he does not want to eat a lot so with the a little salmon oil and hand feeding he gets enough. I love my fur ball angel, it's weird that his eye sight comes and goes, he makes my heart bleed HEAVY 😢. Never thought I would love something so small so much and I've had A LOT of pets. People will tell me that I treat him like if he was my child and I tell them to go get one for yourself and talk to me in a month or so and they will be talking differently about that. I’m so sorry about your baby. I sadly understand so much what you’re going through. I just went through the same thing with my oldest, Weasel. He passed on July 6. His lymphoma spread and the only thing I could do was let him go so he didn’t suffer, but whenever he would get moments of excitement and energy, it would just make my heart smile. His his sister Lucy just got diagnosed with insulinoma and she has an implant for adrenal disease so she’s also slowing down a lot now too. It’s really hard to watch them age, it’s heartbreaking.

@@FerretTailsit is hard watching him age, he was diagnosed a year and a half ago with a time line of give or take 6 months and look he is a trooper. I give him 2 meds twice a day and the vet said we can up his meds still 2 more times. We go to the vet every month. He's on his second implant for adrenal disease. Never knew they are expensive pets but worth it

@@user-ow1ib4sc6u they are definitely not an inexpensive pet, but I definitely agree, they’re 100% worth it! Lucy is in kind of a similar situation where we still are able to up her medication if it starts to not work. she was only diagnosed about two months ago, and for the most part she’s still acting a lot like her normal self, but I do see her slowing down a little, but she’s a trooper too! I hope your baby stays stable and you get lots more time with him 🥰

@@toonheaded one of my girls loves to bite my husband‘s feet, but she doesn’t bite me although she does play bite, but you can definitely tell it’s playing because she barely bites down. They do learn and they’re super smart. They’re kind of like puppies they know the difference, especially once they get older

@@michelleclark8627 you could, it wouldn’t be quite as sturdy as fusible fleece, but it would work, especially if you’re using flannel as the outside fabric. I use that kind of interfacing when I’m making triangle shaped coin purses, and things like that and it works win helping to keep the shape

@FerretTails she doesn't use the fusible fleece in the video it's Featherlite 911ff which is lighter then the mid weight. I am confused bc she says fleece interfacing but the bag she shows u is not that?

Just want to make it as sturdy as I can. What should I use then?

@@michelleclark8627 i’m so sorry, that’s my fault, I made this video about four years ago and at that time I had not been sewing very long and I hadn’t used interfacing or fusible fleece very much, and I incorrectly called it interfacing but I was actually using fusible fleece in the video. I currently use Pellon 971 because I found it to be the more sturdier of the two fusible fleeces that Joann fabrics offers but in the video I probably used Pellon 987 I’m also working on trying to remake some of my older videos just to make them easier to follow and easier to understand. I started sewing in 2018 when I got my ferrets, but I’m fully self-taught, which sometimes shows in my earlier videos. I sincerely apologize for any confusion and I really appreciate you bringing this to my attention and I will add this video to the list of ones I want to remake.
