Funny this supressor does not get a lot of attention. It is superior to others and the detail to numbering the baffles makes cleaning so easy.

There's one Romano Scarpa story where Mickey has a gun, and the dialogue in altered in the English translation so that Mickey says it's plastic. There's another story where Pete shows up with a pair of pistols, and are recolored green in the English reprint. One more odd case is when a car is stolen and Chief O'Hara says in the English version that he's firing a warning shot, yet the art depicts Mickey shoving him aside so he misses his shot, as Mick says that he thinks the carjacker is somebody he knows. This leads to me believe that O'Hara was originally about to shoot either the tires, or the driver, and the translators altered it to make him less trigger happy. Otherwise, why is Mickey trying to stop him from firing a shot that is meant to miss?

I have to give props to the military for brainwashing our guys into the ethos “less moving parts makes for less failure”….and “mil-spec” means “the best”. Most of my military friends are 100% fully aware that “mil-spec” is just a BASELINE of specifications needed to be approved for military use. This doesn’t include the buttering of palms and shady side dealings after hours in hotels. That being said….it is 2024 and stoner engineered this system before I was born. Now, let’s talk model T fords….from solid axles on bowed metal strips called “leaf springs” eventually made way to coil springs and eventually the hydraulic shock. These days, we have computer controlled electromagnetic shocks with hydraulic bump stops. I compare the AR buffer to a common “bump stop” on a pickup truck. If your suspension gets overpowered, the bump stop protects metal to metal contact. This hydraulic “shock” in the buffer system of an AR is MAGICAL!!! So much so that I’ve ALMOST hit “Hollywood-spec” with an otter creek labs polonium can/SA adjustable gas block/kynshot rb5000/sprinco blue coil. And by that I mean it only “pffs” when shot and it has the kick of a .177 cal air gun!!!! For yall tech geeks that means instant follow ups with zero deviations. For us movie geeks it’s full on hitman…just need a padded violin case and a tuxedo.

I will love to know exactly where that little wing or flag rest at inside the gun and how it stopping the trigger bar And not letting you press the trigger and if some one gets a hold of your gun how much force is needed for your trigger and trigger bar to break and if that’s the only thing that beaks if a kid or unauthorized user gets a hold of your gun

I’m really interested in this product,I’ve seen a couple people using them on 9mm AR’s with 308 springs and a spacer too make the gun shoot soft and not cycle as far for the 9mm.not sure exactly about that set up,but I’m gonna give the buffer a try for sure

You're looking at older displays of guns, before gun culture became over concerned with self policing for safety. There has been a big shift on safety over the decades, where kids had shooting teams at their schools, that no one would dare allow today. Due to any mistake making the news and coming back to be used against the gun community. In the 1950's, 1960's & 1970's Gun magazines actually suggested take nip of alcohol to calm and steady your nerves before a shooting match. This was from professional Marksman in mainstream publication of time, with no objection. Fast ward to the 1990's early 2000's and if you took a swig from a flask at shooting match you would be disqualified and likely escorted out from the event. With being banned from future events for mixing alcohol and guns. Not getting sloppy drunk but just consuming a small amount is treated the same as being intoxicated to the level of dangerous impairment. You might want to look up" Winnie The Pooh" comics and cartoons, when Pooh Bear head a bump in the night he checked it out with his gun in the comics and story books. Kids were raised to respect firearms, they were taught with no shielding for age that if they made mistake with one it could be deadly, and that would make them a murder. Compared to modern " criminal life culture" that celebrates shooting people with a problem solver. A vast difference. You also had that the comics were to show bad gun practices using humor to educate , see Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd, how Elmer Fudd constantly has his gun blow up in his face. Which drove home that obstructions in your gun's barrel leads to vary bad outcomes to put it mildly. Yosemite Sam who had severe anger issues always shooting his guns for no reason was not shown in unfavorable light. Comics and cartoons and all the story books used to be full of the characters carrying guns and using them as the tools they are. Kids played war at school, which they get in trouble and expelled for that today. Kids reenacting historical stories have been done away with.
