Exactly, there's no single safety solution that works perfectly for everyone. GoSafe will be great for a lot of people, but others will want other security solutions. The most important part with GoSafe is that gun owners now have another excellent choice to safely and secure store their pistols.

I will love to know exactly where that little wing or flag rest at inside the gun and how it stopping the trigger bar And not letting you press the trigger and if some one gets a hold of your gun how much force is needed for your trigger and trigger bar to break and if that’s the only thing that beaks if a kid or unauthorized user gets a hold of your gun

Looks like a promising product, but I'm definitely interested in learning more about the lock. I've seen great products ruined by cheap, easily defeated lock cores.

The lock and key are high security. As someone who has experience with lock-picking (for science, of course) I can say that the key will be extremely hard to duplicate unless you have very specific knowledge of how to make those keys. Then we’re taking about getting into some James Bond stuff of someone would need to steal the key, duplicate it and return the original without the owner knowing. But at that point, if you’ve already stolen the key then there’s no need to dupe it. Now, on defeating the lock itself - that is something I’m also interested in. Maybe I’ll take one apart to try and understand how to defeat it. 😀😀 At first glance though, the lock is rugged and complicated. It is nothing like a standard lock and cut key. Even if you were to drill through the lock, the metal “wing” that disables the pistol would probably remain engaged. But you’ve given me some great things to think about for a future video 😀

@@TopShotChris That would be great to see, Chris. After seeing the key, it definitely didn't look like a standard tubular lock that can be defeated with a Bic pen. However, I'd feel more comfortable knowing it can't be defeated by an ingenious child.
