When I am breaking down a full sheet of plywood I cut the panels slightly over sized with a small circular saw then trim to final dimensions on the table saw. This way they are easier to handle and you can get better cuts.

Just watching you guys build the bed and my question is why didn’t you put it on the wall to your right would of made more sense wouldn’t it as in more room
@AlaskanFreedom7 күн бұрын
The area I think you're referring to is the bathroom which we are now building and will show in the next few videos. The bed is 15 inches off the new wall that separates the 2 areas. But otherwise yes you would be correct in the fact that it should be more in that direction. Thank you for watching.

Good video as usual I love watching you guys but I got a question for you I forgot to ask you what size is your building and if you don't mind would you send me the model number to your DeWalt saw or Dewalt table saw please I would love to give me one like that I really appreciate it keep up the good work I love it I know it's cold and keep going y'all
@AlaskanFreedom7 күн бұрын
Model #DWE7491RS is the new DeWalt saw just like ours, but ours is years older and might be different. 15 amp 10" job site table saw with stand basically is what it is. I love the saw and the fence adjustment. Our cabin is 12'x32'. If we were going to be here long term I would have gone a little bigger, but this is a 3-4 year home for us as we build an 800 sq ft main home on the property and turn this into a shop.

Thank you for the concern, but yes everything is amazing with us. We almost feel guilty being so happy in a world that is being turned upside down and on fire. This project took a lot of thinking and concentration and that might be showing on our faces a bit in this video. Have a good day Ross.

Check your bed instructions....I believe there should be a way to adjust those struts to balance the up/down tension and make it smooth and easy without holding the weight of the bed yourself.
@AlaskanFreedom7 күн бұрын
I didn't see anything. But it really isn't that bad at all. It feels like you're lifting up about 10 or 15 lbs. Then at a certain point, it's basically weightless and moves on its own. I do know of a company that makes custom struts if we need them. I've used them before to customize our camping trailer. Thank you for the comment.

@AlaskanFreedom7 күн бұрын
Lol......projects. Our winter favorite is snowboarding, but it's so hot this winter we haven't got enough snow to go yet. But mostly outdoor activities. Fishing, camping, snowboarding, hiking, scuba diving. When the weather isn't good we have a local racquetball court we use and indoor swimming, or play cribage, read. And Eleinne LOVES to cook. We generally travel a lot, but last year and this year we are not so we can focus on the cabin.
