Whenever I follow this tutorial, I just get an Apache page when I go to the server name that I set. This is on a fresh ubuntu server install. Apache is not installed. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong.

Easy and short for sites with apache (and optional nginx proxy, like standard in Hestia): apt install brotli (on Debian 11 I got the current version) a2enmod brotli systemctl restart apache2 And here is the trick: To enable brotli for all sites at once (without risking any crash, this prevents ifmodule): nano /etc/apache2/mods-enabled insert this at the end of the file brotli.load : <IfModule mod_brotli.c> AddOutputFilterByType BROTLI_COMPRESS text/html text/plain text/xml text/css text/javascript application/javascript </IfModule> (this is tested and works well)
