I am pretty sure the the washer reservoir in x358 is on the driver's side... Have they changed it from x350?

Best years for an Acura MDX are 2007, 2008, and 2009. Try to find one with low miles. Change the tranny fluid every summer. Same with the power steering fluid. Maintenance is very important. They will last you 500,000 miles if driven conservatively and you will be a winner!

Everything is turning to sh*t with low powered V6's and 4 cylinder turbo engines. Manufacturers aren't building anything to last, everything is plastic molded, foam injected rubbish! Heck, new vehicles don't really have bumpers any longer. One hit and all the panels are warped. Right-off!! With our modern tech and engineering, we should be making solid, reliable stuff. It's a new throw-away generation!!

Thank you so much for your explanation. Just bought T250. 3.7 and am very happy, I have a sprinter van that cost me maintenance more expensive. oil change 12.5 littler expensive disel oil ,compare to 6 littler Ford. im driving 15 k a month. And injectors cost 500 $each. I have 6 cylinders, a turbocharger expensive, Egr system, Def system to many different expensive stories))) Happy with transit ! Thanks for the video. So i know and ready for maintenance transit

Love the video. Thanks for your opinions and findings. I feel the 21 PSI radiator / coolant tank cap causes these hoses to pop off. The earlier For Econolines with the 8 cylinder engines had 16 PSI caps.

Whoa!!! Spray starting fluid into throttle body, not brake cleaner, brake cleaner makes deadly gas when burned or heated. Phosgene gas is nerve gas. I know that was probably you misspoke and meant to say starting fluid. I don't even think brake cleaner will ignite in the engine to make it run. You might be able to get it to run roughly on WD-40. Can't I use a cutting torch on the floor to cut out for the pump? Only joking, of course I wouldn't, that would cause a big bang.
@ericar64
@ericar64 Ай бұрын
Absolutely do not do this in the Jeep Grand Cherokee Wk2, the pump is moved under the side members and it is impossible to remove it!!!!

Very informative video, thank you! I would be curious to see what your experience is with the E transit versus this gasoline powered version. I suspect there are a whole lot fewer things to go wrong.

I have an 07 and 08 - the 07 has 254k and the 08 has 224k. Both have original engine, trans and rear end (SHAWD). Off the rip the 07 I had to regress the sport back to base (convert all 4 wheels to base shock setup and install strut masters fake out module due to unavailability of sport shocks). Stick to the maintenance schedule. They'll last. Wise man once said "treat her like a lady and she'll always bring you home"

I was thinking about upgrading from a 2010 Toyota tundra with 260k miles to 2016 ford transit with 175k miles… I heard some bad things but this video made it clear! I have it so easy with my tundra doing only basic maintenance for so long and no issues at all!!

We bought a used 2013 Venza LE with around 40,000 miles on it for its mass. My wife drives an hour to work and has been involved in two serious accidents. (not her fault) The first was in a Rav4. As she was beginning to make a left across two lanes, a drunk in a Cherokee blew through the red light and hit the front passenger corner of the car. The Rav just squatted, and the Cherokee went up over the hood and rolled down the road. She was uninjured. The Rave was totaled. The second accident happened in A Toyota Matrix XR as she was cresting a hill and ran into an F150 and another car that had crashed just moments before when one of them was illegally passing on a blind rise. She went partially under the truck with the passenger side front corner. The hood and top of the engine were ripped off. Thankfully, no one was in the passenger seat. They would have been badly hurt. My wife had some glass injuries but was OK overall. So far, so good with the Venza, and at 170,000 miles, it is impressive. The interior is holding up very well. The four-cylinder and dual cams are plenty of power for me to keep up with the big dogs on the highway or to get out of the way. The exterior is showing only minimal signs of nicks and bruises. We live in the middle of NC, so there are no Winter issues with the car. I was slow to warm up to it. The lines of sight are problematic, and its size took some getting used to after driving Matrix, Cameries, and Corollas. I'm a Toyota junkie because of their reliability and low maintenance costs. I lost my first Tacoma to another drunk driver and have finally gotten another one. I also have a 95 4Runner as a project car. It has just gotten a new engine after 300,000 miles.
