Great video which had me laughing at times with comments about the non air conditioned gym that you only need to walk in there to lose weight and with out a change in your delivery. For making me laugh, I shall subscribe.......

For a studio in nha trang 350 bucks seems a lot. You can get one bedroom in pattaya for 250 with a good gym and a swimming pool.

Hey Kristina… I’m moving to Nhatrang Vietnam (slow traveling for a few years) in 4 weeks from Australia, what city have you found to be the cheapest and everything in close proximity, I will also go through DaNang, vung tau then I might jump over to Thailand and do Koh samui, Hua hin etc, I’d love your feedback mate, always loving the info you give on costs, glad I found your channel 10 months ago.. keep up the good content 👍

Great video. Thanks for the info on the local market. I will bring a portable roll-able cart when I come to Da Nang so I can shop at this market. I like the heavy stuff like coconuts and durians so I can see that would be a problem carrying them around. Also, they cook the meat to well done so they don't get sick from the room temperature exposure but I understand that you are not comfortable with that and I don't blame you.

I live in Da Nang. It is very cheap. The issues you need to deal with are always checking to see you are not getting ripped off, the lack of sanitation, the countries construction is that of a bad DIY (There are high voltage power lines 3 feet off the ground and every government office or utility, etc. you pay a small bribe or they will never do it right for you. Get an all in one apartment with everything included and be very careful of who you buy from and what they have and at what price. After a few months you will get screwed over a bit but you will get it down. It's not that bad when the guy sells a beer at the bar to a local for .$80 and $1 to you. its still way cheaper than America. There are also lots of American restaurants and the nicer the restaurant the more honest they are, generally. Always buy where the price is on the menu and check your receipt. Find a few good clean places you like, tip the lady a couple of bucks (this is a no tip society) and they will take care of you. Stay away from the sidewalk food stands unless its like roast duck or pork where you can see what it is otherwise you are taking your chances.

@sunerennie
@sunerennie Күн бұрын
@@tleshilo I liked Da Nang a lot more. Budget hotels are everywhere and the prices are cheap because they are competitive. I also found that Da Nang had more food options to choose from. Nha Trang is nice but I felt like there weren’t a lot of tourists, rather long term travelers/ expats who live there. Da Nang is also nice because it’s so close to Hoi An. I think there is a bigger international community in Da Nang too. But all in all, both are nice. Just my opinion that Da Nang was a bit nicer.
