Well, I've just eliminated added fructose and sugar. I went on high fat, protein and fiber diet. I've lost 20% of my original body mass and reversed prediabetic stage.

FRUCTOSE is 7 times worse than glucose in case of glycation. Because of stereochemistry.

Prior my allergy episode end of October I was weighing 142 lbs. I started taking allergy pill, first week every day and then every other day until now and I gain 8 lbs... Never in my life I've been this fat...I was wondering what the heck is going on and this is when I thought of the allergy pills and wondered if that was the cause...and surely it is!

High soluble and insoluble fiber makes me super gassy, I do better with a bit of lettuce and some fruits in small quantities. Dairy usually helps keep things moving for me (even without lactose). Maybe carbs bloat me? 🤷♂️🤷♂️

Great video thanks years ahead of its time! I megadose 10-20g in coffee a day to balance higher methionine from all the chicken I eat on body builder diet. I try to do it with decaf toward end of day as it’s an inhibitory neurotransmitter (makes me calm & tired) so I do trimethylglycine during day instead. So so many benefits, it’s like a laundry list these days. plus many studies show it improves dental hygiene even. And super cheap. Even if I get a lot from collagen & diet & body indigenous 3g, I still think supplementing is necessary with all this meat & too plant based is too hard for MPS for me (but then could do less glycine), but keep saturated fat intake super low to maintain low apoB.

You must be joking! Muscle loss happens with EVERY diet when you lose weight. Don't you even know that? *Ozempic is a Diabetic Drug for people who cannot control their Diabetes Type 2.* If people misuse it that's not the Drugs fault. Side effects only effect 5% to 10% of those using it. You don't need to take Ozempic to get "Ozempic Face." Fat loss in the face will ALWAYS result in drooping skin. I take Creatine Monohydrate and have NOT lost any Muscle mass. I've been on Ozempic for almost one year and it has saved my life. My Blood Sugar levels are almost normal again. I really wish people would get their facts right!

It can be very helpful for someone with type 2 diabetes, in terms of glycemic control. But, understand the dose of the drug being used for weight loss is higher than the dose used for type 2 diabetes. It has to be, because of mechanism of action. And the people who are taking it are often not health conscious, like you. The point of this story is to raise the collective consciousness on the topic, not vilify the drug. Drugs GIVE and they TAKE. The key is to KNOW this, make an INFORMED decision and MITIGATE the risk.

Recently, I was helping someone do some shopping and ended up in a supplement store, where there was an entire rack of supplements where each shelf was a selection of products designed to deal with one particular side effect of this class of drugs. Mind-blowing. People are talking about them like miracle drugs. I'm picturing the class-action lawsuits 10 or 20 years from now.

Me too. I think there will be lawsuits in the future and a lot of lives negatively impacted, even lost.

I've read and heard about Ozempic causing stomach paralysis. I've been warning people about Ozempic but some people get defensive. I advise people to eat low carb. I lost weight by eating low carb and walking. My A1c went down and my blood pressure went down.

Yes the stomach paralysis is often an issue when people go for surgeries - it makes the anesthetic more risky.

Thank you for this information!! I have watched how people are so excited for the “results” as a doc I have been skeptical as well. I have watched friends and family loving the skinny, but I have watched them look like sagging skin on a skeleton. OMG! Muscle is protein, I’m sure we have yet to see the fractures to follow because this type of MOA has to mess up protein synthesis all over. Why would anyone think that being in a state of hyperinsulinemia is a good thing???

Yes it does. And it is a problem. It is why "GRANNIES shouldn't go on diet". The difference is the level of muscle loss.

Yes........ I have never quite understood it either. In type 2 diabetes you are swimming in insulin, so the fix is to give you more.

Thank you for addressing my exact same doubt I had since I've learned about the action mechanism of these drugs, i.e. increased insulin secretion. This should really worry any doctor prescribing them. OTOH, plenty of doctors are worried about the long term effects of a completely natural behavior like fasting. On a personal note: luckily I don't need these drugs, however I wish I could maintain my weight with less attention to when, what and how much I eat... the thing that most attracts me of these drugs is the reported silencing of the "mind chatter" about food. I'd really like to stop it 😔

Not the best explanation. salt sensitive is due to long term low salt diet causing high insulin. High insulin raises blood pressure. eating much more salt will correct the salt sensitivity caused from the low salt diet. again low salt causes and creates high insulin. high insulin then causes creates high blood pressure. remedy eat much much more salt to stop insulin activation. stopping high insulin can also remedy type 1 and 2 diabetes so can salt cure diabetes? probably. watch your water intake because much water will raise your blood pressure for a while. also potassium is a salt waster diuretic so if you want to raise your sodium and fix high insulin and lower your blood pressure you must reduce your potassium intake or you will lose your sodium gains and get no results

Hi, by my personal experience I can't relate to this. I have always had very low resting heart rate (about 40 to 45) and always did work out (aerobically). I lost weight and solved my insulin resistance with intermittent fasting, low carb and resistance training, however my heart rate didn't change, or went even a bit lower. Must say however that I take pressure lowering medication, which surely contributes to keep the HR low.
