I definitely have hummed and hawed about this issue, you do see Jesus calling Herod a "fox", which was considered a pest and a worthless animal at that time period. Also, you see him calling the Pharisees "White-Washed Tombs", not exactly a compliment. So, is calling people names (which are accurate) allowed, but cussing isn't?

In regard to the last question, I don't think anyone should ever be 100% sure of anything because if you're wrong, you want to be open to changing your mind. Any time I see someone say they're 100% sure of something or that "their mind is made up," I worry a little about how much progress we can actually make as a society.

Can someone help me? I’ve been really struggling with my mental health, and I have been forbidden from any sort of counseling or help by my parents. That stuff will not be an option for me for many years. I also do not have many friends at my college, and every time I feel I’ve found a Christian community they reject me. What do I do?

I had 3 open heart surgeries as a baby and I am SO BEYOND BLESSED to BE HERE AND ALIVE! God wanted me here and im so glad I am. I have also threatened to take my own life over things So I understand anxiety and depression.. I LOVE God Im going through a HARD season rn I am out of work I live with my parents 26 years old.
