I’ve been stock piling parts for a 5.4 swap for a while. Just haven’t had the time to do it. Hardest parts to find for the swap, I already got. Snagged an HPS 5.4 intake right before all the prices went absurdly high. That dang intake was probably more expensive than the 5.4 engine itself. I don’t need a ton of power, I just want the low end torque. Even a stock 5.4 in a Crown Vic with a nice set of rear gears should dramatically increase the fun factor. Especially with an extra 100 ft lbs of torque in the low RPMs.

Hey man I got to say. Thank you! Because you was a really big help. The minute I watch this video I went straight to my problem. Luckily I didn't need a new lighting control module. It was just one of my connectors were loose. Now my lights are running perfectly fine. Thank you again

I like your video man. It vibes. I own a '99 and a co-worker has a 2004. I feel like I dodged a bullet with the newer electronics on that car. I like the simpler times. I'm actually putting fog lights, stainless brake lines, and the new alpine stereo in mine. It looks clean and original. Mine is the parchment/Arizona beige Signature. Plus, this car won't need a tuner for small changes unlike the later PI cars. ADTR actually has things for these.

Shame to see that Town Car in the junkyard - the sunroof cars are pretty rare. That would be a cool cruiser.

K-Seal works best when mixed and diluted in antifreeze before pouring into coolant system. K-Seal is the best i have ever used. Let idle for 35 minutes.

Curious about that motor, never had one and know nothing about it. What kind of power does it make stock? Reliable, at least as much as the 2v 4.6? Same bolt pattern/layout as a 4.6?
@goosegarage7814 күн бұрын
you can also put a coyote in these as the 4.6/5.4 shared the engine mounts. that will wake the vic up.
