Interesting enough wta normally have a lot of serves been break because ladies often train with men, so they are used to receive high speed serves, that when applies to the actual game receiving from another lady I guess it’s looks so slow that they can easily return and eventually break Obviously isner is on another level to even the atp

Federer was Roddick’s kryptonite. He was the only pro that had consistent success against him. Roddick’s serve was devastating, but Federer was able to return it more successfully than other pros of that era while also exposing and taking advantage of one of Roddick’s few flaws - his backhand.

WTA serves are only 20 mph less than men's. Serena routinely served 120 mph+ serves. The men are serving BETTER, more spin, more placement, more kick. WTA players could hit every one of the serves men hit just not quite as hard, but the SKILL level is greater for the men. These are BETTER serves, not just harder.

I mean the one thing I’ll say is the women don’t play against people day to day serving 130-150 mph consistently. Would they still struggle? More than likely. But if they trained to actually return these kinds of serves it probably wouldn’t look as bad as this makes it look. But that would probably mess with their day to day game. Like only training to swing against 100 mph fast balls and then going up against knuckleballers.

And the w*men of the WTA must be awestruck, pondering the mystery of their lower pay. Could it be that men are just naturally more skilled and biologically paramount in sports?

It's simple biology and there is no debate. Men are Stronger and will always be "better" in any sport in which strength and endurance are key factors given that both train at bthe sae level. I would get my ass handed to me competeing against any female athlete! You simply can't compare the two. This has nothing to do with sexism etc. ffs!.

Roddick was a kind of one-trick pony. (But compared to Federer, who isn´t.) He had to rely on his first serve a lot, and if his serve did not work - or when he had to play one hell of a returner like Federer - his whole game fell apart.
