Why in this podcast do you guys say Ret Paladin is good basically at any stage yet in the second episode you guys say that Ret is bsaically non-viable in any situation? Are you guys just like lulcow memelording?

This was a good one I’d listen if you guys did this more. However I wish during the Druid segment that the guy who absolutely hates Druid would take a back seat and let the other guys who like Druid more talk about it. He sort of took over the entire segment ranting about how much he personally dislikes them and that’s not helpful at all to people who are excited to play druids

Bros casually ignored how easy gearing Ret is and how strong Paladin single target threat is. I've never had any problems finding a raid group as Ret or Prot. I think the casual 95% of players truly don't give a shit.

Don't do it, there will be hardly any new players, most of the players are the same players who played this same game for decades which are entitled and straight up toxic. A hamster wheel is a hamster wheel, no matter it's is new or old, fresh or used, what color or size You will be doing the same thing and have the same headaches in the end

Let's not forget these servers will be rolling over to TBC servers after a year, so classes that are meme classes in vanilla will be god-tier in TBC, like Paladin and Shaman.

Also I don't think any fresh discord servers are live yet. The fresh announcement was so sudden we still don't even have the server names yet. The main Classic WoW discord sever does have a guild recruitment channel though. Edit: Names were announced, still don't know about Discord servers though.

You're most likely right about the Warrior population predictions this time around, especially with the addition of dual spec and the removal of the debuff limit. This time around I decided to play a Warlock and Rogue and start with the Rogue first since I've never done that before at the launch of a fresh server. But now I'm seriously reconsidering starting with my Warlock first and gearing my Rogue once the current content gets old and competition isn't as fierce. Please let me know if you ever open up recruitment! I really enjoyed listening to you guys and it seems like we have very similar expectations for the pace we want to go at. I also want to clear, but in a laid back environment that's not too sweaty or casual. Also a primarily Alliance player that can't wait to go Horde this time haha.

If your having trouble with guild recruitment or finding a guild, I used blizzards forms, they have a section for new classic guild recruitment. I found a guild to fit me within about 10mins. Sometimes there are Reddit posts too. Both can be found with a quick google search. Hope this helped you guys fill out your roster!

i played warrior in 2019 , let me tell you when 3/4 of your group in Warsong gulch is warrior, its not much fun.

DEBUF/AURA LIMIT REMOVED FROM CLASSIC FRESH - this means that specs like shadow priest, classes like warlock, and resto Druid will be much higher performing and completely viable in raid! BUT it also means warrior and rogue are gonna rip even harder.

This will be Fifth classic experience, first and 2005, Second 2019, Third, first time around with servers hard-core, Fourth then season of discovery. Now 2024 another classic being the fifth followed by another hard-core being the sixth? Honestly, I don’t see much in doing something six times over that takes a large portion of your life. To me this sounds like keeping you on the wheel so they can go work on retail. I think the only classic that may have some potential would be season of discovery. And I know I’m not the only one that feels like that.

Shadow guard will proc Blackout stuns making it useful in PvP. I believe undead is still bis for wotf, but trolls are still pretty good. Troll is definitely best in pve due to berserking Devouring plague is good, but it does have downsides. It’s very mana expensive and as a disease it can be easily cleansed. It’s a cool ability but not enough to make undead the clear PvP choice. Undead beats out troll due to their racial ability

The leggings recipe was an AQ drop IIRC. (Warrior pants). On to Holy Paladin, don't take the robe of power (MC). I made that mistake in 2019/2020, really regretted deleting my Baron robe shortly after. Let the mages have it.

Oh man glad to see this as a warrior dps main I'm a bit concerned about the sped up timeline. Also would love some fresh server discord links! I'm avoiding going full sweat this round as I did it in 2019 so I'm hoping I can still pump enough to have fun and be happy with some purple parses. All things considered I wish I found any other class even half as fun as warrior in group pve

Yall were asking for fresh servers discords but they aren’t out yet! For guild recruitment I’d suggest using the wow classic forum classic fresh guild recruitment channel! Hope that helps!

You nailed it. All of it. Classic may have a stiff gameplay for some classes, but it's still the most immersive MMO experience to me. Everything. Matters. Nothing is useless in this version of the game.

For me, all this crap is the main turnoff to original WoW. If it's all the same stuff, there's no reason to return. Boring stuff.
