hate those dam things!! Old style external slave/separate release bearing worked too well, I guess. Just so those pig$$$ can grab more out of your pocket. Free replacement worthless, if you still have to go thru all that mess of pulling the gearbox. They should help

Those motors rip, if on tune. Dunno how reliable.... hey, it's a mitsu! Clubmember bolted one straight to his 90 Mmax gearbox Used some 'other' oem ecu + a RPM swith also iirc.

It seems there is some kind of block off plate installed. At 8:26 you can see it below the TPS to the right. I still have the part installed which is originally bolted there. What exactly is this for?

Hey I got a 01 mirage 5 speed I can’t seem to find any parts for it at all “aftermarket” or what do you suggest I do to it engine and exhaust wise don’t have the money for a turbo build but want a good little street car can’t even find any fuel upgrades just all oem parts.

Oh yeah parts are a little bit harder to find now than they were before but if you have the 1.8 you can find some headers and intake usually that gets you some decent sound if you make a custom cat back exhaust

I have an '89 TSi with a 19c turbo. I have a MSD box and a manual boost controller with boost set at 20psi. Tops out at 155mph in 5th gear. I've owned it since '97. Second owner.

Welcome back. How do you like that act clutch? 6 puck? Smoked the clutch on my Conquest the other day and have a lightened 240 mm flywheel ready to go. Also have act 6 puck clutch and full face stage 2 eBay clutch on hand. Trying do decide which one to install.

Just bought a chrysler conquest it is literally just dumping fuel into the engine is the injectors bad what would cause I'm going to get them check but everything else looks good just very rich and all the plugs are fouled black as ever

Oh yeah that sounds like one of your injectors are stuck open. You definitely have to replace it most likely it is the green injector.

I would love to bring my 2007 Galant Ralliart to be used for modifications and video how-to. It has 155,000 miles as a one owner. Looking to repaint it and do some minor reupholstery. It does need new struts all around, too. I live in Kissimmee and would love to meet up to learn. Let me know. I believe there are less than 10 of these models that exists in Florida.

I have a 07 Galant Ralliart as well and I believe it’s the pulley that needs to be replaced because the car whines when accelerated, I hope your video helps me. This car is a headache when it comes to maintaining it 😓😅

L O L I completely agree a pain in the butt when it comes to maintenance but the whining noise was coming from my AC compressor so now that I replaced it that whining noise stopped but now I’m looking at the spillage coming from the car and it looks like the inner tie rod seals are blown

Hey! I'm thinking about trading a 2000 Silverado 5.3LS auto 4x4 for one of these. The engine is completely rebuilt bored .20 over new head. but it needs put back in the car and im really worried about what I'm getting myself into. Do you think its a good trade or stay away? just an opinion would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would definitely do it. The cars themselves are a little finicky, but if they were well taken care of their actually really fun to drive and from a financial standpoint, the value is going up so you’ll definitely get a return on your investment, but make sure that everything is put in properly. Or to make things simpler you can update your engine management to alleviate a lot of little headaches.

In my gt eclipse the previous owner stripped the bolt inside the subframe inbetween the lines going into the rack and pinion I cut the corner of the mount off because there was nothing I could do to get that broken bolt out

Wow, that’s scary in those situations. Of course you can replace your subframe or you can thread and tap it since it’s facing the ground.

I believe the FSM says to use blue thread locker, so either loctite 242 or 243. There are lots of different “medium strength” thread lockers out there such as 609 and 635 which are green and are different compounds and have different characteristics
