Ah mate, sorry to hear about the Shiro. I always dip my fish in PP before adding them to the pond. I always use the NT Labs liquid PP and never had an issue. Hope you're well.

TR..Oh my, I've been in KOI now 38 years, and I've never heard anything like it. 5 minutes max. And not too strong..Normally 2-3 minutes, Trouble is there are so many experts that have been in koi a short while who know everything. Shame, Davy.

Was it powdered pp or liquid pp I normally use liquid pp 1m per litre for 5 mins max think u had a strong dose and leaving it in there for 15mins burned the gills beyond saving we all learn for our mistakes don't be too hard on ur self we have all fucked up more than once we live we learn.

Sorry for your loss mate, i put all new fish in a very strong pp bath before i put them in the pond, i think you just had bad luck

👊Fair play for documenting this mate loads have made mistakes with Pp including myself, some time ago now but it’s sad to say but you know now just like I did. Knowing the correct dosage and timing is so important. Catch soon mate 🤝

Sorry mate but it says on the packet 3 to 5 mins max, whoever told you 15 minutes owes you a fish. PP is a last resort with a sick fish. I think there’s too many self styled experts around these days. In my opinion a couple of weeks quarantine with salt is much safer.

Your money calculation is wrong, following directions makes it cheaper overdosing is more expensive. That said may need more doses but would it work out equal, I think a little at shorter frequency may be the answer and most cost effective

just on catch up ,saw this mentioned on someone else live. Nightmare you've had issues. You do know eco filtration have got it sorted for the plugs to be exchanged if you send the old one back? so you won't need to buy any adapter kit yourself. Think that makes it alot better. Not ideal by anyneans but at least they arent expecting people to pay for it themselves. ☺️👍
