Ah mate, sorry to hear about the Shiro. I always dip my fish in PP before adding them to the pond. I always use the NT Labs liquid PP and never had an issue. Hope you're well.

how many grams did you put in ? I always go pp dips never had an issues I think you have put too much m8t and also the temp difference probbaly didn't help

Was it powdered pp or liquid pp I normally use liquid pp 1m per litre for 5 mins max think u had a strong dose and leaving it in there for 15mins burned the gills beyond saving we all learn for our mistakes don't be too hard on ur self we have all fucked up more than once we live we learn.

Oh no, how much PP per 10 litres was in that, looked mega strong? And 15 mins!? Bet it nuked its gills. I do 3 mins and the time flies by at 2g only, per 10 litres, never had a problem, the PP/bath almost kills parasites instantly hence doesn't need long 😮. Sorry for your loss, harsh lesson to learn.

Sorry mate but it says on the packet 3 to 5 mins max, whoever told you 15 minutes owes you a fish. PP is a last resort with a sick fish. I think there’s too many self styled experts around these days. In my opinion a couple of weeks quarantine with salt is much safer.
