@@michaelwise6970 if you look them up through bmw I’m not sure what they are called. But everywhere I went and called even my bmw dealer , they were called front lower control arms

I don’t recall specifically, but I remember it wasn’t flowing the right amount of fuel.

Without tearing apart the block, I mean it is really hard to tell. But since the oil lines go to the carbs, I would check the oil lines and probably just replace them they are cheap. Also maybe that second piston carb mixing the oil might be blocked.

First I would like to say I am very sorry, and I know what you’re going through is very painful. I am not a vet or an animal specialist. All I can do is tell you my experience. Aero passed away after everything and only lasted 3 months after I started him on chemo. Also, I had to take him in for blood work every other week. To make sure the chemo didn’t affect other things. Ultimately his kidneys failed and there was no sign of the cancer going away. Supposedly chemotherapy is supposed to have a high survival rate. In my experience it didn’t seem to help. You can try fenbendazole and vitamin E, that didn’t help Aero either. I wish I could just tell you the best course and what’s going to give you the most time with your beloved dog. Again, I know your pain. I still look back to this day and wonder if I did the right things, or if I missed something that could have saved him. I will say the vomiting is not good, they need to keep food down. Aero became less active as well.

It has a clunck/ click when I steer

The one in the video, there wasn’t a clunk/click. The bushing were wore out. I show how to test those in the video. The parts replaced in the video, bolt to the front of the car, by the radiator. Then go to the strut. But you’ll have to test to see where the click/clunk is coming from. I would suggest having someone turn the wheel while you are looking underneath to see if you can see or hear anything. I would check the rear spring and rubber bushings, that might be where the sound is coming from.

😂 I just got mine last week and I thought it was missing the screws, like a manufacturing defect. I then read the online manual it stated that you could end up with the older or newer style (luck of the draw). So it must be brand new if they still have the older style shipping out. I will say that I did order directly from S&B website.

I had them custom made through ebay. I picked color, font, size. I don’t remember the seller. I will see if I can find them again.

The quality is fine. I prefer a lot of the old one. Especially the no hood, the cuffs, and the color change on the heat indicator. Just pressing the buttons on the new one is a pain in the ass. I never seem to be able to just press them. I have to “work” at it. The old one was easy I didn’t even have to look. If I could I would probably just buy an older version, with the new material. The new material seems warmer, I would say same durability. Another note is that a lot of people complemented me on the old jacket and just liked it. Not so much with the new one. Everyone wanted to know what kind of jacket and where to get it with the old one.

Did you look at the typically replacement interval for both parts? All I can do is suggest things, because most of these things are not going to be in stock at parts stores, better to have them on hand, then wait after vehicle is torn apart. All I said is be prepared to replace them, because the bushings are most likely going to worn out if the CV joints are, do to replacement interval. I showed how to check the control arms in the video, because you should check to make sure before just replacing. Hopefully that clarifies what I was meaning.
