FYI…There’s a $350/nt incidental hold for their luxury suites. Found out the hard way when our flight landed & I had an alert that over $1150 was withdrawn from my account. I was shocked because when I had called Vdara to confirm the amount of the incidental hold for our 3 night stay and was apparently misinformed that it was only $100 per night! Still one of my favorites in Las Vegas.

I'm really curious to see an updated room review on this one. I stayed in it about 1.5 years ago (post Ruby video) and although it was awesome in many ways, there was a distinctly funky odor. I attributed it to the wet bar plumbing, but not sure. Hope it is fixed bc I want to stay in it again! Thanks for another solid video fellas!

I was booked into The Flamingo for my trip in May this year, I liked the idea of staying in a “mob” hotel and its history, however changed my mind when I enquired about the room facilities such as a fridge and a safe. I was told my room would have a fridge but no safe for some strange reason. Then after watching a few reviews I’ve decided to change my booking to Resorts World same place I went to last year as it also has a pool.

I "lived" between El Cortez original rooms and the Western Hotel when I first moved to Vegas. Stayed 3 weeks at each place. El Cortez rooms had windows with screens that would open all the way. The El Cortez is on my list of places to stay. It has become one of my favorite casinos in Vegas and I really want to try one of the original 47 rooms. If given the choice between staying 3 days (Th, Fri, Sat), without leaving the property, for the same price, would you choose Rio or Mandalay Bay? I need to cancel one of these reservations and I just can't decide.
@StalkingTheStrip8 күн бұрын
I assume cost is roughly the same? If so, I lean Mandalay Bay. Rio's new suites are freaking nice, but the casino floor is still very much a "work in progress", although table game mins are going to be a rung cheaper most likely. Here's my recent Rio vid in case you didn't see it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5KzZJ13qM-sgJo It's been a couple years since I stayed at MB, but the room was great AND I feel it's a more polished resort experience, is closer to the action, and the pool scene is tough to beat if you're going in March or later. That said, Rio would be perfectly fine if it's significantly cheaper - Just ensure you get a renovated suite!
