Does it have to be spruce trap doors because I was on a private server and it was working made it on a different server that is on hard mode and I only spawned like six and it’s been like a couple IRL hours also does location have any correlation to the build? You can also make it a looting creeper farm by making a water column to your afk spot(I tried it but I wonder if I can increase its efficiency by adding more layers)

I find Voltrox's design works a lot better provided it works for both versions. Only 3 villagers needed (true this one technically started with only 2), much less material intensive to set-up, and no need to constantly enter the farm itself to withdraw iron and risk accidentally releasing workers. In fact, the only reason I don't still have mine running is my village had enough losses that I needed the bodies to repopulate because I jumped to building it before making sure taking those 3 wouldn't risk that very issue.

Answer 1: Bro, this will take a long time, but once you build the farm, if you kill the pillagers left inside the outpost building, the farm will keep working. Answer 2: Killing the pillagers outside the farm after setting it up won't cause any issues.
