Howdy. Bit late to the party but really hoping you see this. I fallowed everything you said to the T and i dont have the main menu mod option like your steamdeck and im running out of options. Any help would be awsome

Interesting video can you help with my question. I have a Sd card and it was working but for some reason stopped. I reinstall rog ally to on my new ssd with cloud recovery . I have put my sd card in and from 512gb when in rog ally it will show me that the card is only 145gb and when you try formatting it I get message windows cannot format this card. When I insert the card in external adapter trou usb c the card seem to pop up just fine .. and is showing that is a 512 gb samsung card. Any suggestions thanks ?

Wow, thanks! Everywhere else I was told to just buy FH4 since FH5 is unplayable, but you’ve found the perfect settings that work well on the Steam Deck and still look great. I’ll download it right away. Btw, what was the total size after all the dlc's.

Its so god damn good on the deck. It might just be me but its never looked better and i aint even got an oled 😂 probably the fact that its portable has swayed me to like it abit more but its definitely a great way to experience it for the first time if your new to the games or you have never tried DS3

It’s not cause it’s getting hot..ive never uses turbo mode and havnt even played for 10 hrs and I updated the crate app and now all a sudden my sd card won’t work.. it shows up in disk management and I can’t format it cause it just says “not responding” I formatted it on another computer and it won’t work.. I can’t believe it’s been fine for 3 months that I owned it and all a sudden I update the crate app and now it won’t work.. So the updates Asus are releasing are causing issues

I have never ran more than 15watts. My card suddenly stopped showing up but works great in my pc. I tried another card and it does not show up either. Heat was not the problem here. In disk management the card does not show up. I tried a bios update and it does not help. What ever causes the reader to stop working is not heat. I always make sure the Ally is shut down before I put it in a case and that the white light is off. I know someone and their Ally has been hot many times and the card reader still works. I don't trust sending this in to Asus and will not be buying another one.

I dunno if they’ve changed it mate but I don’t get the pre screen with the options window. It’s like my Skyrim settings are locked. Maybe they did this in a recent update? Also doesn’t have the mods option just creations option.

Basic setup. Must installed in internal storage. Do not installed in SD card. Mine has 1-8fps in the city scene. After moved to internal ssd everything smoothly. Even with ray tracing shadow on. But I lock it at 30 fps.

For some reason my steam deck (OLED version) can't run this game well, when I reach that part (8min mark) stutters really bad, I have to force quit, I downgrade settings to lowest, and still experience this :( shame

I had lots of fun but I felt that the 9" screen does not render fully the visual creativity of the series. I'd advise doing it on a big screen first.

Nah. I’d rather graphics suffer a little bit and get that snappy input and 60 fps. Driving fast at 30fps feels terrible. To each their own I guess

A quick update on today and it’s someone that couldn’t play the game very well. Your settings helped me o lot but you can play it in 60’frames and there will be no problem

Im not getting the 60fps option. It goes 90, 45, 30, 23

Thank you for these settings. They’re absolutely amazing. Getting a stable 30 FPS in both Handheld and TV Mode. Only thing I changed is the Frame Scaling Mode. In TV Mode, Frame Scaling was causing my frame rate to stay capped out at around 22 FPS and it felt it awful. Turned it off, and now getting a stable 30. I know you can get this game to run at 40 FPS, but I really don’t mind 30. I think for a system like the Steam Deck that allows us to play games like this portably, 30 FPS is more than acceptable.

Sir, this isn't the problem people are facing. This is a file management problem. The mass problem is a define flaw that cooks SD cards. The reason it seems random is because all cards have different tolerances. This is only helpful to newbs who don't have a firm grasp of the Windows OS. You could have just added a drive letter and not lost your data.
