I am very new to electronic callers. How much do you worry about your path to set the call up (scent and visual of them seeing you) and what route do you take. Do you set up with the wind, place the caller up wind a bit and go straight to and from your stand to your call placement? That was pretty cool capture of that cat sniffing the wind!

Are Bobcats as big a problem as Coyotes? I see a lot of Coyote hunting videos, but this is the first Bobcat one that I've seen.
@C_GroffАй бұрын
@@rso1411 that’s a great question Jerry. Any predator that is in high numbers is a “problem “. I think a lot of people overlook how much of an impact a bobcat has on the landscape. Especially when it comes to game birds. A bobcat is a lethal predator. It may not be as smart at a coyote, but it is in my opinion the better hunter. Bobcats don’t run in groups of 3-6 so we don’t see them as problematic as coyotes. But if you want a growing population of game birds you should think about controlling the bobcat numbers.
@rso1411Ай бұрын
@@C_Groff Thank you. Excellent reply.
@willhorting5317Ай бұрын
I'm guessing that one of the reasons for a lot less bobcat videos, is because bobcats generally have specific hunting seasons. But in many states, coyotes can be hunted at any time.
