Coyote Decoy dog with Coyote Commander

Tanks first hunt in Southern Missouri. Called in a pair and had some good action going till the coyotes caught some bad wind.

When starting to call, pause more than call. As the coyotes become dis-interested or try leaving then escalate the CALLING to KEEP their interest. Constant CALLING makes them suspect a SET-UP, SET-UP is what THEY do they can SPOT one from AFAR!

Really appreciate HOW you use the dog. Just saw one where the hunter took the shot, and while the coyote was dying, let his dog tear into it--a bulldog type breed. Problem with that is, of course, the dog that is allowed to do that can become a stock killer very easily. In your case, the dog is used properly, to lure the coyote in. Credit to the dog's breed, which by nature wants to stay clear of the coyotes when they come in, this both attracts them and keeps the dog safe while you take the shot.

That's a red. I had a blue that had the same body size and shape. Looked like they could be from the same litter except for the color. They have tails when they are born.

That dog wasn't scared. It was waiting for a full command if it's been trained...and if it's new, it was being cautious. There isn't an ounce of fear in that dogs growls or barks.
