Please stop blaming the water problem in St. Kitts on CLIMATE CHANGE? There is an old saying, A WILLFUL WASTE MAKES A WOEFUL WANT. Back in the 90s I use to work in the Sandy point court, and every day sometimes for as long as six months, there was billions of gallons of CLEAN FRESH WATER running into the sea at OLD ROAD RIVERS. Sometimes even West Farm ghaut and Bloody point rivers use to run in the sea too. What we needed was some sort of dam system, to trap and store some of that water. We enjoyed seeing College st ghaut and Westbourne ghaut, Wash ghaut and Cayon ghaut, Tablenacle ghaut, spew water into the sea. Every now and then, a Government would build a 100,000 gallon reservoir and boast about it. The days of 100,000 gallon reservoir are long passed, the St.kitts Brewery and the Bottling co. ( coca cola company) alone probably uses that water. We now need storage of Billions of gallons of water. I am not a water engineer, but I am sure if there are no water engineers in St. Kitts with the know how to address that water problem, they could easily contact one elsewhere. Years ago before they started building at SHADWELL ESTATE, I thought they should have dug out Shadwell and divert College st ghaut in there making a man made lake. The time for talking is long gone, time for action. BILLION GALLON WATER STORAGE FACILITIES all around the islands( St. Kitts and Nevis). Perhaps building DAMS up all the rivers and ghaut will do it.

This body is reactionary.....just using buzz words does not address the issue. Rich folks get to circumvent while poor folks pay the price. All the global corporations pollutes without consequences.

I do not feel it appropriate to spend ANY money on music videos when people are starving, there is no food security, over 50% of our food comes from abroad and over 30 villages have no running water and people can't get land titles and their electric and water is being turned off daily for non payment and inflation is through the roof. This is UTTERLY BAD STEWARDSHIP OF SCARCE RESOURCES TO SPEND ONE DIME ON SOMETHING LIKE THIS while people starve and die from hunger and lack of clean water and lack of medical care due to corruption. YOU GET AN F for poor use of very important and valuable resources. People are turning to criminal activity for survival and you are posting crap like this. NO. JUST NO. AWFUL Also I hate the music

Hi, Incredible 2020 discovery. The rain does not form in drops but a real torrent of water which is reduced to drops during its fall. In 39 seconds lnkd.in/eqYZfP2 The diameter of the water drops depends on the altitude at which the water was formed, the higher it is, the finer the drops and the closer it is, the larger the drops. If it's too close, it's squarely waterfalls.

Considering Hurricane Maria has costs up to $90 Billion USD and Hurricane Irma had so far $50 Billion - for the USA (Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands) - and now Hurricane Dorian in The Bahamas is up to $3-5 Billion USD alone -- this estimate is way way too low. We probably already surpassed that in 5 years since this video was made.

Caribbean people are so busy trying to carve out a niche and survive that very few take time to think about the issue of climate change. It is not a topic that I hear being pushed, general awareness is very low and we are all at risk. We never talk about hurricanes and their increase in tenacity until its hurricane season. We never talk about rising sea levels until we get a high surge during a king tide. We have representatives that attend these conferences every year, but the print media only highlights some information on it I would wish that there is a live stream that all who are concerned can view.

This was an amazing experience for me. At that age, it was a great opportunity for exposure on the Global Warming issue still affecting us today. I enjoyed and learnt plenty in each class. Thanks ClimateChangeCentre. I am forever grateful.

Great video! Education is key. The Caribbean case study is quite unique and due to the vulnerabilities associated with SIDs in the region we must take deliberate action to address these Caribbean-specific challenges. Small Islands...Big Issues! Watch this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e6LMnYiXj7tqnck
