COP27 Climate Report #1

At COP27, during the opening of the World Leaders Summit, UN Secretary-General, AntÓnio Guterres declared that because of climate change “we are in a fight for our lives”. On the same stage, Prime Minister of Barbados, Hon Mia Mottley told world governments that they have the collective capacity to transform the climate disaster that we are heading towards, while Hon Al Gore, Former Vice President of the United States of America ask leaders to imagine what could happen to self- governance when one billion climate refugees start to cross borders. “We have lost all credibility.., he said. “...we have to act.”
