Love Skyfall! Sorry that it’s crazy to get up there, but worth it and you looked so happy to be up there. There is a closed elevator up if you’re staying in Delano if that helps on future trips. We’re enjoying your journey and look forward to the rest of your vlogs.

Awww thank you!! It was actually terrifying and I do get anxiety with things like that, but also - kinda how I imagine a bungee jump to be - addictive after you’ve got over the initial fear! I think seeing the strip from inside that tiny box elevator and the cocktail bar itself was a bucket list for me. I loved that lounge and I’m glad you noticed how happy I was. 😝 Good to know if I go up there again and I panic I can come down in a closed elevator 😂 Thank you for your kind words, I appreciate you! Funny you mention Bungy jumping 😂 I used to bungy jump for a living. I first did it in Australia twice then worked at the indoor one at West Edmonton Mall when I got back. I’ve jumped probably 1500 times 😊 Heights don’t bother me as long as there is a barrier to keep me from falling off. Thanks for watching my silly vlogs! Happy camper was fun and we hope to go back when the weather is better and can enjoy the outdoor aspect. I’m a massive wimp I hate turbulence when flying, but do it because I love traveling and I’ve got used to it a bit more now I fly more often, but at first I was terrified and didn’t set foot on a plane until I was 21 haha! To Vegas funnily enough. I noticed you’re an Oilers fan,some of our best friends are and they live in Edmonton. We’re now in Calgary and I’m DYING to visit Washington so I can do the Twin Peaks tv show tour and just get my David Lynch Fangirl on. Also I just feel like I’d love WA and also Oregon so one day soon I think I will hit you up 😝

If you went to Zion, next time go to Bryce canyon which is not too far from Zion. BC has an amazing display of rock formations you won't see any where else.

Totally agree… I actually had some of the Old Dutch brand ketchup flavour a few weeks ago, and they were slightly better… I love Miss Vickies dill pickle and jalapeño though! A new favourite since I moved to Canada!!

Some of the best animal products don't even require the death of an animal to produce. Cheese is made from Milk which yes the milk industry is bad pretty much all industry is bad if you look hard enough. Eggs for eating aren't actually fertilized eggs.

Great first vlog, looking forward to the whole trip. 17 days in Vegas, not sure my liver could cope 😂. I like the plan to do the low volatility slots in the morning, good bank roll management. Nothing worse than losing half your budget in the first hour. The peanut noodles looked awesome

My mom was a vegetarian, and raised us kids the same, so there isn't any meat I crave (I've tried it occasionally though, usually on accident, and have not enjoy it, lol). However, I do on occasion eat meat "substitutes" and was wondering which are your favorite brands/types? For example, do you prefer Impossible to Beyond? Soy or gluten based is best? . I struggled a bit on my last trip to find good vegetarian options, so I've appreciated seeing all your Vegas recommendations! I've added several places to visit on our next trip based on your videos. :)

Ah wow that’s really interesting! I went vegetarian when I was 20 ish, but I didn’t enjoy many meats or fish anyway so it was very easy for me! However, I think when trying to feel like you eat a full “meal” adding the mock meat proteins, or ordering them when you’re in a restaurant can be really fun and make you feel more included. I personally don’t ever feel like I miss out and enjoy food MORE now than I ever did when I ate meat. I’m from the UK and Impossible meat is banned there due to some ingredients they use that are not permitted in the EU and UK. So when I see Impossible alternatives I will try them but I wouldn’t want to eat them every day. I would say Beyond Meat is very good. Gardein is also great for “chicken breast” to add to stir fries or fajitas. I also like Yves is Canada or any fried chicken mocks for burgers! Although, from my name you probably guessed that if I had to choose, I’d always go for fried tofu 😅 and absolutely love it! I also think cauliflower is a great alternative but not too heavy in protein! I’ve had some amazing cauliflower dishes in my life! What do you think of tofu or do you have a go to mock meat brand? Xx

@@TipsyTofuTravels Ah, interesting, I didn't know about the British ban on Impossible, so thanks for letting me know about that (I have family in the UK and visit them from time to time). A fellow tofu lover here (especially when marinated and then baked). I also make my own seitan a lot using vital wheat gluten (which is a lot cheaper than buying in the stores!). I grew up eating Morningstar burgers, which I still like some varieties of, but I'm so glad there are more options out there now! Recently I discovered Daring mock chicken in our grocery store, and those are great to use in quick stir-fries (teriyaki and Cajun especially). Baked cauliflower is awesome too. Would love to see some cooking videos from you if you have the time. Regardless, thanks again for sharing!

I love the luxor. Not sure how long you have been going to Vegas but I remember when that casino was pretty much new and the Egyptian theme thru out the casino was so much more than it is now. They even had a river Nile ride that went thru the casino. I loved it.

Oh wow I never knew about the river Nile ride! It’s honestly such a shame they de themed everything mostly. Or at least reduced it. Luxor is probably my favourite interior of any casino and if they get rid of it I’d be so mad!! I first went to Vegas in 2014 but I didn’t quite make it to Luxor that time! Now it’s a staple visit each time I go lol!
