How can someone so beautiful sound so beautiful. She is a work of art in every way.

From my point of view Mozart is more exciting when sung by big voices. Nilsson did a really good job in this aria. 🎉

What a shameful performance. 😅It is a stupid coloratura machine.🤭 Zero emotions. He doesn’t even understand what he’s singing about. This is an aria of despair, where the hero is almost sobbing, but Jaroussky thoughtlessly performs nightingale roulades, what an idiot.🤣 Just compare with the depth of Derek Lee Regan's emotional performance of the same aria kzbin.info/www/bejne/hHusna2elKaomZY to understand how ridiculous and mediocre Jaroussky is.

You've done a great job with this. Thank you. Could you please by any chance provide the link for the whole concert that you found? . The only recording of the full concert I can find on KZbin is in the wrong aspect ratio, Jaroussky is elongated out of all proportion and sound is poor ! I know another version was on KZbin once but I can't find it😢

Hello! Of course: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iqalko2mlMiNa6s&ab_channel=OlenaProkopovych Here is one that is correctly scaled (I think I took the mis-scaled one for my version because the resolution was better.)

This is the performance to beat, and I don't know of anyone who has.

Wonderful melodies, harmonic changes and rhythmic alterations! The timbres of the voice and strings complement each other really well. The pop, minimalism and baroque influences are all clear and work really well together. The cascading flow of melodic ideas are exciting and evocative, redolent of the historic yet earily contemporary!

*English translation* And am I to my spouse unknown? Will not my mother lend an ear? Say, oh ye gods, what have I done, Deserves a torture thus severe! I once was object of thy love; Thou plac'd thy hopes in me thy son. Speak; but thou dost faithless prove. Believe; but thou art cruel grown. What will ye both, than, let me die, Ye gods, I find I can't prevail: And now I feel my constancy, And former courage both do fail.

A reminder that once upon a time there were singers to make your heart weep.. a voice with colour and control over the musical line from piano to forte. For awhile she was unmatched.
