That DAMN attack where Vanitas takes you to a different dimension or something when he's at 1 HP prevented me from beating Ven's story when I first played BBS for another THREE HOURS until I finally looked up how to beat him!

This fight was intense, combat and storywise. The music speeding up just made it more so lol.

I hate this boss fight, but it has undoubtly one of the best themes in the entire series.

As a kid I was a Terra main...I still remain a Terra main to this day since he's the only one with enough balls to actually use the Darkness. Never liked playing as aqua or ventus. So imagine the trouble I had when I discovered Vanitas Sentiment and Mysterious Figure with the aptly chosen nickname of MF because, as Terra with close to 0 invincibility frames during your dodge, these 2 tought you pain and resilience.

way harder on the psp when the leash was a guaranteed death. oh and when he summons clones and they all use the floating orbs which drop you to 10 fps

Would've made more sense for Vanitas's face to have stayed blank until after Ventus found his way to Sora's heart for healing. The face reveal should've been done in kh3 itwould have been better and made more sense.

They finally made a good, fun, challenging and balanced final boss and then ruined it with a horrible gimmick second phase.

When you find an empty cardboard tube and your sibling is nearby.

The reason Mysterious Figure is such a difficult boss is that unlike the other secret bosses, he is directly antithetical to BBS' design as a whole. He requires lightning quick reflexes in a game that has you moving as slow as a turtle woth down syndrome. His attacks cover such large distances that is basically rng if you can evade them in time. His very movement is in direct opposition to the command deck system as whole as he doesnt have set approach patterns, he literally just sprints at you full speed whike taking minimal damage amd punishing you for playing the game the way ot was intended to be played. You can not be tactical about your comma deck usage, you dance to his tune and his tune alone. MS fits better with KH2 than BBS

I hope the day comes when someone can beat this guy with Terra no damage

I platinumed the game on PS4 ... i think thats all what i have to say.... 250-300 deaths MINIMUM and i do not talking bullshit here... as Terra, this guy is a pain in the ass... i dont know whats called in english anymore but i spamed the hell out of him with the technique where you sprint to him in a Thunder circle! ... Where you are invincible for 1 sec maybe ... You just cant dodge the DEATH COUNT attack with a normal dodge ... not with Terra and he literally SPAMED it! He used it 3 times in a row not gonna lie! ...I yelled "WTF DUDE YOU NEVER USED IT THAT MANY TIMES WHILE I HAD AQUA AND VEN YOU FUCK!! Unplayable lucky non-sense!" :D :D ... it was driving me crazy so hard! ... Worst secret Boss ever in KH history (but only because of Terra)

This paying in the back ground made it worth getting my butt handed to me over and over in the final battle phase lol

I know many are going to find it hard to believe, but I beat this asshole with all three characters, and to my surprise, it took me the least amount of attempts to beat him with Terra! Believe me, I know it was pure luck. I just equipped thunder surge, ran my face into him, and just wished for the best. The victory to this day still leaves a bad taste in my mouth because I hate resorting to cheese on a tough boss, but at that point, I didn't care. After fighting him over and over again with all three characters, I just wanted to be done with him.

Why did they give this guy long and admittedly flashy combos with his lightsabers when he brings you down to 1hp the second he touches you

And so I assume this version of Xehanort is tougher than KH3 young Xehanort data battle

The violin in this song sounds so tragic, just like terra's experience in this battle.

It took me a while but I finally beat this asshole with all three protagonists.

This fight is even more harder on the PSP version than the PlayStation 4 version which is insane
