why does the hd remake cut off the top and bottum of the screen?? its like they just zoomed the camera in to make it widescreen. i watched this video lile 20 times and the hd cuts stuff off.... am i the only one seeing this.?

For all those who didn't know: Those pictures from the "original" Kingdom Hearts arent't from the actual games we werte abke to play. Borders had been removed from the scenes with a cheat code, so there won't be ANY loss of information in the remake.

The HD pictures appear closer because they have had the top and bottom cut off to fit to a widescreen TV (16:9). It's stupid that they have done this. If they don't offer the game in its original aspect ratio (4:3), I'm not getting it.

Yeah but, it's not that bad. We still get them in HD, new models, trophies, themes, abilities, command menu. Plus the whole 358/2 days movie. It just seems so nitpicky to refuse to buy it on the grounds of screen resolution.

The graphics for BBS are already good so no need to do a HD Remaster but the graphics for RE:Com were a little choppy.

Yeah I remember watching a video that showed that message so yeah, I guess the remakes will make there way to other countries. However, there's nothing to suggest that the final mix version will be included with that bundle. I just notice people thinking that so I wondered if there was any proof it this.

Well, Nomura did say that with the addition of 1.5 to the series it would be "unnatural" to not have a 2.5

The reason the Final Mixes weren't released outside of Japan were due to Sony's policies of rereleasing games (none of the three FM included enough new content apparently). THey have no such policy regarding HD remakes as you can plainly tell from how many there are.

I really hope they make like a 2.5 remix, that includes Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, Birth by Sleep, and maybe HD cut scenes from coded? I really want to be able to play KH2 Final Mix. I've been wanting to play it for so many years.

I'm sure they'll keep the already made voices, hopefully. Of course though, the new cutscenes will provide new voices. Still, I really hope they remake the letterbox cutscenes in KH1 and/or Re:COM as well.

Have you forgotten that in the final mix versions that along with the Japanese text, there is English voice acting? Those extra cutscenes don't even have any voice acting, so it doesn't matter. The ones that do recycle sentences already used in the game. It's just a matter of translating the bonus stuff, which wouldn't take very long.

yea lol.. it's an HD remix, which means its a remake from 4:3 to 16:9. so if you dont play it that way, you might as well just play the normal game

I remember all the boss fights. Made my heart pump out of nervosity nad then I felt like a real hero after defeating them :D No other game has made me feel like that :)

What makes people think that this collection will be localized? Or even that the final mix version will be included in non-Japanese releases? Okay the HD collection would probably make it's way to other countries but not final mix versions of the game They would have to get voice acting for the extra cut-scenes and for some reason I doubt that will happen.

Since they're replacing models with the newer ones, I wonder what they're going to do with the FF models. Keep them the same or replace them too? And also, will they redub Leon's, Aerith's, and Yuffie's lines since they have new voice actors now? I know they'll do it with Sephiroth :) I also like Leon's new voice actor more than the original, so I hope they will. That's just my opinion :)

In the HD remake the camera controls for KH1 are assigned to the analog sticks like they are in KH2. Major upgrade right there. I think they added the reaction (triangle) function too. Plus its KH final mix. There's a bunch of extra stuff that wasn't in KH, like a battle with Xemnas. AND, there's 2 hours of new Days cutscenes. Hopefully it'll be a decent Days "movie". What are you disappointed about? The next game will be Kingdom Hearts 3 for PS3. Then probably HD Remix 2.5. lol.

Well... i think KH 2.5 well include: KH2 (of course) , KH3d (with or without hd remake) and cutscenes of BBS because coded isnt as important as BBS, plus coded has only few (1-3) important cutscenes tho!

I know what the issue is. Everybody is really excited for this game, but because of choices in localization in the past made by Square Enix, you're worried we'll get our hopes up only to have them crushed because the game wasn't localized.

i dont think the stories of BBS is gonna have as many cutscences as days, remember, days is a story of 358 DAYS! (and they remaking the text scences). But as long as kh3d made it to the next collection, i wont complain about bbs or coded :)

I do not agree, I think they did not change graphics that much... The polygons look the same, they just added some kind of a blur, we can even see big pixels on Sora's hand circle's texture (we can see it better on the original 1.5 trailer) I've been playing the first 3 assassin's creed episodes, and i am very disappointed by this remake. Even if i know that this is a cartoonish game. I'm not that focused on graphics, so I'm waiting to see the gameplay improvements, etc... :/ *full of hope*

Wow! :) You can see the difference between the original Kingdom Hearts and the HD Remake--everything looks much smoother! Not to say I don't love the original's graphics. ♥ I applaud the two hard working programmers who managed to make this happen! ^^ ♪ Now, if only it can be confirmed for the U.S... :/

personally, I hope Birth by Sleep gets its own 0.5 HD Remix, rather than being thrown in to 2.5. Tetsuya Nomura stated he wants the games to be lined up in an order for the fans to easily understand the plot. As such, placing the prequel with the sequel is not very smart. They are more likely to show the ending of KH2, the go straight into KH3D. Although, 3D isn't that long, meaning they could throw in BbS, but seeing as THREE .5 titles have been announced... Shits about to get real!

I think They'll put Kingdom Hearts II and Re:Coded with all KH3D cutscenes or KH II and KH3D with Re:Coded cutscenes, but no Birth by sleep. Because KH 1 and Re:CoM make KH 1.5 cuz it's KH (1) and the game that's a connection to KH 2 (0,5) And 1+0,5 makes KH 1.5 cuz it goes a lil bit further than KH 1. That's why BbS can't be in 2.5 becaus it's before KH 1. There needs to be a game comes AFTER the KH II-Story. KHII (2) and KH 3D or Coded because both are the connection to KH III (0,5) 2+0,5=2,5

even though im a huge kingdom hearts fan if it's just an hd resolution change no thank you i'll stick to my ps2 discs anyday main reason is the lighting in ps2 games when brought to ps3 with resolution change sucks kills the atmosphere of the game so it's better to buy the original version plus it's the hd version is only clearer texture now if they were to completely redo the graphics to ps3 standards i would buy the game but if not im happy just waiting for kingdom hearts 3

Then my friend, you are human. the first KH game i ever played was Chain of Memories on the GBA. First time seeing Sora and Riku, although throughout the game Riku looked like a girl. But then when i found out that KH was one PS2, i nearly shit myself. I borrowed it from a friend right away and loved it instantly. the music, the battles, all epic. And though the only games in the series i've ever completed are Re; Chain of Memories on PS2-Which have an epic final boss and Music score, and KH2.
