First time i used abs it amazed me i was on a country road and took a corner at 50-60 mph and around the corner there was a car stopped turning left i pressed the break as hard as i could and thankfully didnt hit it. Lifesaver.

The reason some people still doesn't like ABS because of demonstration like this. They always showcase the worst driving techniques to show the necessity of ABS in a vehicle. It gives people the impression " Yeah, I don't drive like an idiot like in that demo so I don't need ABS".

i crashed my classic chevy on 5th run since 1989 on the light stop, even if i had abs the road was too short, i kept skidding for a 12 meters until i crashed. my 1982 headlights still works even the blinkers on the bumper, but the car i crashed was a 2021 Hyundai, it was totalled idk what happened to him but i had insurance
