個人覺得1370係成批Voith E6M之中波箱聲最好,尤其係01:42把聲好聽,不過宜家部1370已經去唔到呢個音,變返普通聲,波箱聲細好多

九記286A線的行駛路線雖然是直達美孚、長沙灣、深水埗的特別繁忙循環巴士線,但是選用青沙公路直達九龍西區後途經石硤尾公屋邨和筆架山花園後駛入獅子山隧道返回沙田區仍然不是繁忙時段特別高速巴士線,唯獨是創新使用青沙公路和獅子山隧道來作為高速循環巴士線,根本比不上86、86C、86A線到達石硤尾和深水埗的車程時間,還有要取消86A線上午單程來回服務時間,簡直是商業行騙手法和非常失敗,本人相要乘搭類似86A線到達石硤尾和深水埗地區上班,寧願乘搭86和86C線都不會乘搭怪怪286A線。

最主要是2軸E 400已經停產、所以香港各大巴士公司都要搵新型號巴士來代替E 400⋯⋯所以香港未來可能沒有2軸雙層巴士了、所以香港有些道路要做改善工程來適合行走11点3米3軸雙層巴士尤其是大嶼山的道路

The franchised buses are restricted to retire after 18 years. These Euro 3 B9TLs are already 16 to 17. Some buses have been suspended for months since Covid and KMB decided not to renew their license now

1. Demand of bus service was heavily reduced during Covid. 2. Not enough technicians to repair the buses for annual renewal 3. KMB suspended buses deemed surplus, with priority given to aging and low-capacity buses.

First thing is money. Whether they are willing to invest in the RHD bus production line, whether they can offer competitive price.. etc. Second thing. Now we're talking about electric buses. Bus companies won't put themselves on newspaper for procuring Benz diesel buses. Now the electric ones. Never think it's too easy to build a double-deck electric bus, espeically with air conditioning running all the way!

I understand. Kowloon Motor Bus and Citybus companies can own many buses for about 18 years. Unluckily the fire-destroyed bus had had technical troubles. I think all lives of passengers and the driver are safe.

Thank you for sharing this. Nice to see these had lots of fans and drivers who were giving it a good run on its last day. I love a lot of things about Hong Kong and the Super Olympians made it a very special place, as it was D10 engined Olympians that got me into buses in the first place. Sadly I wasn’t able to save AVW68 from scrap but hopefully it’s not the end of the type running in anger.

I enjoyed these scenes of the last Super Olympian. Effective from 1 August 2023, no more Super Olympians officially operate anymore. The first Super Olympian (Dennis-bodied) was unveiled in 1998. The first Wright-bodied bus, however, was launched in 2003. The Super Olympians' characteristics were with three vehicle registration plates. The auxiliary one (mounted near the rear window of the upper cabin) should not have been necessary. I would like to thank you, other bus fans, the British body manufacturer Wrightbus, and the operator Kowloon Motor Bus Company for the last service. 😭
