I was curious about your vertical mounting results of your CNC? I see in this video it's back to horizontal. What issues were you having to switch it back? Really want that to work for my own small shop space but haven't been too convinced yet that it'd actually work out as a permanent solution.

I know. I'm old and grumpy and prefer R&B - Eric Clapton, BB King, Bonnie Raitt, and the like-- but YOUR music is just too -- irritating. Maybe you could find something a little less chaotic???

I can’t afford the licensing for any of that kind of stuff. Guess you’ll just have to mute the video when the royalty free music starts.

The mic definitely was way different. When you first switched over, I thought you were doing voice over. I thought that nibbler would be game changing for me too but found it to be very limited in what it can do.
@GunflintDesigns
@GunflintDesigns 22 күн бұрын
So what was limiting about the nibbler? Just the materials that it could handle, or the two-handed design?
@nickwojieck
@nickwojieck 20 күн бұрын
@@GunflintDesigns It was extremely slow when cutting thru sheet metal roofing which is what I use most often. I found that a circular saw worked much quicker and was more accurate than the nibbler, not to mention the plethora of half moon shaped metal shards laying all over the place. I also have used the metal shear attachments that hook up to a drill and have had great success with those. The biggest issue is when hitting the rib portions of the metal roofing but when cutting sheet goods down to length, the milwaukee circular saw is my go-to.

the mouthbreathers that complain about "expensive" tool use were never going to build it in the first place. having to go outside and ask for free pallet wood is too much for "some people", they also have no critical thinking skills, cant use their brain to substitute to what they have on hand.

Could not finish. Since mineral oil is a petroleum product and not an oil that firms a real finish like walnut, did you try same experience with walnut or other oil ? Mineral oil can just leach out and never coalesce into a true finish ? Jack in Idaho
