Question for you guys. According to your knowledge, and experience. Someone with bladder cancer that has spread to the bones....is there any plant based protocol that has reversed these conditions?

Brilliant conversation. Thanks for keeping up the fight and making the change this world needs. 'Insulting food'--I love it. Spot on. 18:17 Isn't it more like buried in inertia, buried in the corruption of the Medical Pharmaceutical Junk 'Food' Industrial Complex? I mean, the data is everywhere and has been for ages. The revolution will be bottom-up--People learning the power they have in their own wallets and kitchens to reclaim their power and health. And that's why what you do is so magnificent. Thank you.

So I’m not a vegan. When I hear the term veggie burger or plant burger etc I think to myself imagine that’s like saying I make jerky cauliflower or meat lettuce. I maybe able to make plant things out of meat but I know it’s not the same. Beyond meat burgers aren’t very healthy for guys. I listened to a nutrition program about testosterone and how soybeans etc are horrible for men yet that’s what fake burgers are made out of. You may think fake burgers are great for men but you’re basically skyrocketing estrogen in men when you feed them that. If youre a guy look up how soybean is bad for men and testosterone. Also another side note is it’s great to avoid oils but then like I think you mentioned nut milk or something. Almond milk is pretty processed. A healthier thing would be to grind the dried nuts yourself into a powder and just mix it with water so it’s healthier. I know some Filipinos that would grind rice and mix with water to feed babies. Lots of people do similar things. Oh I was going to say if you’re being healthy you need to avoid using like all frying pans except cast iron. Non stick frying pans have forever chemicals in it and it will get into your body over time and they last forever since they’re forever chemicals. So if you want to be healthy use cast iron. Idk about enamel Dutch ovens or other forms of metal that’s got enamel on it. Maybe enamel is okay idk.

Thank you so much for this wonderful shopping advice. I do not like kale or swiss chard. Have not tried collard greens but would like to know how to cook them. Also interested in how to cook grains in my instant pot. Learned several things thanks.

For my cabbage and corned beef this St. Patrick's Day I'm using a 2 1/2 lb corned beef brisket, a 3 lb cabbage, 3 lbs of potatoes, 1 1/2 lbs of carrots, and an onion. That comes to about 7 1/2 lbs of plants, or 3 times as much plants compared to meat. Therefore, my cabbage and corned beef is "plant-based" as well, no?
@plantdocspvd4 ай бұрын
It's great that you're incorporating a lot of vegetables into your St. Patrick's Day meal! However, from a plant-based nutrition perspective, "plant-based" typically refers to meals that primarily consist of plants and exclude animal products. While your dish includes a significant amount of vegetables, the inclusion of corned beef means it wouldn't be considered plant-based. You might consider trying a plant-based alternative to corned beef to fully embrace a plant-based meal. Enjoy your festive cooking!

Looks great except for the transition ( fake meats)! You could have used beans instead for more fiber and antioxidants which are crucial for overall health. And the beer?! A doctor promoting alcohol?? Hmm!! No Thank you!!
@plantdocspvd Жыл бұрын
Beans would be healthier for sure and an excellent substitute. When 1 cup of beer is simmered for an hour, less than 5% of the alcohol remains. A slight compromise in the spirit of St Patty's Day!

Oh how much I love variniki!! My two favorite fillings are with sauerkraut and also with farmer's cheese. I haven't figured out what to substitute sour cream with - true Ukrainian staple!!!
@plantdocspvd4 ай бұрын
Variniki are such a delightful dish! For a plant-based twist, you can substitute farmer's cheese with a mixture of mashed tofu and nutritional yeast to mimic the creamy texture and cheesy flavor. As for sour cream, you can try a plant-based alternative like cashew cream or a store-bought vegan sour cream. Simply blend soaked cashews with a bit of lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and a pinch of salt until smooth. This will give you that tangy, creamy goodness without any dairy. Enjoy your plant-based variniki!

Do you have to grind the chia seeds before you can eat them???????
@plantdocspvd2 жыл бұрын
Hi Cindy. New studies are always being done, but my understanding is that both chia seeds and flax seeds give up more of their nutrients to us when ground - but more important with flax seeds. Chia seeds offer great fiber ground or not ground. Dr Greger has a great video comparing the two - watch here: nutritionfacts.org/video/which-are-better-chia-seeds-or-flax-seeds/. Sandy
