I see that you mention The Walking Dead in the title, but could you also mention The Wire?

"Black bars don't win awards " Clearly refering to The wire

It's definitely criminal that it never won any major awards. It ranks up there as one the best shows of all time. Right next to The Sopranos, Mr. Robot and Breaking Bad.

Got this music running through my head all day. I love this show. Just like real life. There are no obvious answers or solutions. Every time you think it can't get darker or more depressing, they raise the bar.
@jlop68226 ай бұрын
Granted, I’ve only made it through this episode so far, but I like Kevin’s character. He keeps going even when everything tells him not to. It’s not smooth, it’s not pretty, but it’s moving forward. Sometimes, that’s all we can do.
@kevinscott92426 ай бұрын
@jloo6822 I agree. I've rewatched the entire series 5X now. It's unlike any other show. It shows how bleak life can be. Most of the time, life is about picking the least bad choice. We do not have the simplicity of two choices. Usually, there are 4 or 5 choices & none of them are enticing, hence the reason you are procrastinating. The Leftovers shows you that reality.
@jlop68226 ай бұрын
@@kevinscott9242 I like to think that while obviously his tears in this scene are from the reality crashing through that Laurie is really divorcing him, there’s also a small portion of it from subtle but emotional relief/appreciation of his daughter finally showing him a shred of empathy/humanity/love. Just a complete outpouring that had been pent up so tightly

@@MaxsMusicc mate I don't think U realise the impact this video has on my at least , yes it's about the greatest acted show of all time , but it's about the grief we all go through in real life right? We don't understand half of why things happen they just do 😔

Thanks you for the kind words. I have edited several Leftovers videos and it’s the easiest for me because I love it so much. It evokes such raw emotion. I’m actually re-watching it now as I do pretty much once a year and it doesn’t get old. I still get as emotional as I did the first time watching it. Damon Lindelof’s masterpiece.

Kevin’s jeans are so skinny, it looks goofy. Someone needs to tell the filthy urbanites that wrote this show that small town cops don’t dress like hipsters. And it’s also normal for people to own guns lol, no one would question it like they did in such a shocked way.
