Where would you spend the night?

Hi! On this trip we stayed in Valle de Guadalupe (the wine country). There are lots of options for different budgets. You could stay in Rosarito but that’s not my favorite. If you are just going into Baja for the day I would drive back to San Diego or go down to Ensenada. , thanks for sharing. to compliment your visit Try the following folks: Restaurante La Hacienda, at only signal light make a right, its a plant nursery and event place, so nice here, then try lunch at Ochentos Italian/pizza etc.,, Breakfast place go on main hwy to Huevo Republic Restaurante, at Maglen resort office entrance, further up the hill follow signs to Maglen & villas and Walk around, then back TO MAIN HWY, ON LEFT IS Pollos El Retorno, ORDER SOME CHICKEN And TAKE IT WITH YOU TO... SOL DE BARRIO WINERY, THEN EAT THERE AND ENJOY THE VIEW AND PLAY YOUR MUSIC, BUY SOME WINE, THEN UP THE SAME ROAD TRY MERLOT. YES , BEST VIEWS AND TAKE PHOTOS, RETURN TO ROAD right turn to and enjoy anther viewing place called Bodega Cieli and beers plus he is Italian so foods/Say live music; Best view again. Now, up ahead try Greek food, yup Best roasted lamb and Gyros at Dimitris en el Valle. This same road has many great wineries and restaurants. Just stop at them all. Of course, hard to eat every place in one day so, spend another day there in the Valle. Next, try La Casa de Doña Lupe and eat at the Indian reservation called Wa Kumiai Tabita, they the lamb breakfast. Check out the museum and gist shop.Much cheaper than in town. Hi! We rented a car in San Diego and drove ourselves everywhere. Yes, someone should be the DD for safety. I think there are also tours that can drive you to specific wineries too! Have fun!
