Love my 65-300 APEX. Dropped a pretty decent bull elk last season. Very impressed.

You guys up on the NM border, or down closer to Terlingua? I just emailed Ky, looks like a great hunt.

What camera and settings do you use to capture the vapor trails of the shot? I have made lots of hunting videos but cannot seem to capture the vapor trails. Any advice will be appreciated.

What model Vanguards will be available in 7mm BC?
@weatherby11 сағат бұрын
Right now it is just chambered in Model 307 and Mark V
@texpatriot84628 сағат бұрын
@ unless you offer it in the Vanguard, people who want a lower risk way to try the cartridge before investing in a premium rifle (Mark V) are going to flock to Savage and Ruger.

@@texpatriot8462 You could look at our Model 307 option. The Range XP 2.0 MSRP is $1279

Hey Weatherby, any chance you guys will start chambering 257 weatherby in faster twist rates? Half of the .257 bullets on the market won’t stabilize in a 1:10. Would love to use a 115 TTSX

I have a Weatherby Vanguard since 2009 and love it. I was considering buying this but since Trump made the tariff war with Canada I will hold off buying anything American till it's over. Maybe some pressure on your Gov to reverse this ridiculous war with your northern neighbors who are your brothers and sisters and share so much love for hunting.

Congrats Tyler and Colton on two mega Aoudad rams. Definitely would be fun to work for or with Weatherby especially on these proving ground hunts. Aoudad is a dream bucket 🪣 list hunt for me. I didn’t realize that Colton was a lefty but he ran that right hand only bolt smooth and fast, while down on that bipod.

Awesome hunt. I ordered the Alpine CT a couple weeks ago. Just got the scope mounted on it this weekend and took off work tomorrow to sight it in. Love the feel of the rifle and the overall build quality. Hopefully this baby shoots and I'm confident it will!

Adam, thank you for being upfront and honest about your experiences. That's how the real world works, and I appreciate it. I had a blessed fall that was successful on lots of level, but didn't always end with a dead animal. God bless

7BC = DOA. Lead Balloon. Proprietary case material, under a patent. Federal will be the only guys loading factory ammo for it. There will be absolutely no affordable box ammunition. Reloading it will be an insane chore, and require proprietary expensive dies that don't even exist yet. Case life will be abysmal, as steel alloys work harden exponentially faster and cant be annealed to return malleability. Why with this "new fancy" crap? Just put the money and materials into making ammunition and reloading components affordable again, in the already innumerable number of existing cartridges.

You would thing with all the modern technology we could get one of these high end companies to build good rifles under 5 lbs empty….. if how’s can build a mini action in 6arc and 6.5 Grendel with all steal actions coming in a claimed 4 lbs 13 ozs…for just at $1000…… why can’t weatherby and others do the same with titanium actions and get it under that 4lb 13 once empty? ….. hell with titanium u may even be able to get it light enough to still be under 5 lbs scoped and loaded

I am also a graduate from Liberty University with a Master’s of Theology and a Master’s of divinity, I am a pastor and a Weatherby collector. Growing up my father began our weatherby collection in 1963 and I am continuing it today. As much as I love the classic 300 or the 257 my dream caliber was the wildcat 6.5-300. So when you brought these out as a mass production I had to get it. I absolutely love the velocity,energy,and accuracy of this rifle it has become my all time favorite rifle. I am actually about to place a custom shop order for a Mark V Deluxe in the same caliber. Thank you for bringing this caliber to the mass market and may the Lord bless you and keep you in His grace and mercy!
