I know the video is 6yrs old BUT my son just got one of these for his bday and the pic Instructions were terrible. This was a lifesaver, I had to comment Thank-you

I'm so glad!! Another thing to note, most of these loungers have 2 sides - a high side & a low side. On the high side, the seam sits up above the center, so you literally sit more on "top" of it.. whereas, with the low side, you'll sink down into it a little more. My oldest son has Sensory Processing Disorder & seeks things that are snug or heavy on him. When we go on vacation, we always take one of these, and anytime he gets overstimulated during the day, he'll grab his tablet & spend a good 30-45 minutes sunk down into the low side. I also like the low side, but only of the chair is really full of air & closed up tight. Hope your son (and YOU!!) enjoy it!! Even six years later, we sure love ours!! And yes, we're still using the original ones we bought 6 yrs ago. ;-)

:) Its definitely not a perfect method... but it has worked well for me - MOST times. LOL! I think the most important piece of the whole thing is to close the opening after swooping a bunch of air into it. Think of it like blowing air into a balloon... when you need to take another breath to blow more air in, you pinch the opening so the air you've put in so far doesn't come out. (Hope that makes sense!!)

How did this even become a product. Its so bad lol
@tanya9nithreus3 жыл бұрын
It's not, it's actually a brilliant product! ... The reason why so many say it's 'bad' is because they don't know how to properly inflate it. Practice and this video can make perfect!
@ericjensen85926 жыл бұрын
I am completely uncoordinated..so this was damn hard. Two things to mention. 1: when you first get it out of the package and unfold it..the inner plastic bags are all twisted and stuck closed..you can run around all day and never get them inflated. I ended up struggling and finally it half inflated and squishing it open the rest of the way before it would actually inflate. I still need a 20 ft run or a stiff breeze to get them inflated. 2: yes close it up BEFORE you stop moving...and then roll up really tight before engaging the clip. 3:'if you put this down on pointy rockstar debris..your butt still is going to touch the ground..this provides nice comfortable relaxing position and back support..but your tush is touching the ground..no air pad. Pick a flat grassy spot to sit.
@cathy30466 жыл бұрын
Hi Eric! I would love to see a video or photo of you in your inflated air couch... if your hiney is still touching the ground, I fear maybe you haven't fully inflated the bag. Something just doesn't sound right about that... OH!! One thing to note - there *IS* a "top" and "bottom".. at least, on ours there are. Once inflated, you should notice that the center most internal seam goes farther in on one side than it does on the other. We loved this feature because our kiddos didn't sink down as much, and thus didn't feel quite so trapped. You may prefer sitting on the shallow side as well!! :-)

Cathy3046; so it’s ok to drag it around in the gravel? Are these really that durable? I haven’t bought one yet but would love to...
@cathy30466 жыл бұрын
What a flake - Like with any product, I'm sure there are higher qualities and lower qualities, so do your research on the materials used to make whichever one you decide on. But with that said, yes... the ones we have are 100% tough enough to use on gravel. :-) They also float, so they're great for tethering to the back of an anchored boat, or a dock.. or even just use a nice long line & stake it to something on shore/the ground. :)

Ashley Crawford ⚠️ God has said in the Quran: 🔵 { O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous - ( 2:21 ) 🔴 [He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him]. ( 2:22 ) 🔵 And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful. ( 2:23 ) 🔴 But if you do not - and you will never be able to - then fear the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.( 2:24 ) 🔵 And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before." And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally. ( 2:25 ) ⚠️ Quran

AKA Nathan - Thank you!! And Happy Birthday!! They are truly super comfortable - once filled, that is. :) My biggest (un-recorded) tips are to consume a minimum of 2 stiff drinks prior to attempting this, and ALWAYS have someone recording it. ;-)

:) The drinks may take the edge off the frustration of the initial failures. I wanted to sent it back, but had some success this arvo trying the new techniques. So I guess its now part of our camping kit.

people close it too late when they stop moving. just enough time for the air to escape. you have to close it just before you stop moving. open it up right when you start moving. do this till you get it as full as you can get it. i dont have one yet. ive seen them at academy. only down fall to these is people say they deflate around a couple hours or so. only way to find out is to get one.
@cathy30468 жыл бұрын
That's exactly right!! I suppose the concept is fairly similar to blowing up a balloon... once you get air in the balloon, you've got to close (& hold) the end tight so the air doesn't escape. :) Thanks for your reply!!

Thank you! So glad to know my silly little video may have helped someone! No, I haven't had trouble keeping it inflated, however, to be fair, I haven't ever been able to lay in it longer than about 45 mins before being needed elsewhere. :) One thing you'll notice me doing in the video after its full the end is rolled, is kind of shaking or 'bouncing' the rolled up end. I'm making sure it's SUUUUPER tight & rolled really well - I think it holds better once its snapped together. Thanks so much for the comment!! I'd sure love to see a pic of your air chair after you get it all filled up!! :-D

Yours is one of the easiest videos to follow, thank you! Most people make it harder than it is. Do you have any problems keeping it inflated?
@cathy30467 жыл бұрын
Bluesbabesrv - so sorry.. i don't think my original reply attached to your comment. Hope you've been enjoying yours these last several months!! No, we haven't had any issues keeping it inflated. I think the key is getting it rolled really tightly.. notice how I sort of "bounce" it while I'm rolling? I have it rolled so tight, i couldn't quite get it to roll all the way around that last time. The bouncing helped get it tucked in so I could do the snaps. The tighter it's rolled, the less air can escape. :-)
@nuffshotz706 жыл бұрын
Bluesbabesrv you just need a lot of room to fill it up,the way she did.
