Vanguard in Me2 on insanity was miserable, Me3 though, love it!

Mass Effect 1 vanguard is like a mako tank on 2 legs. Mass Effect 2 Vanguard is: Shepard dies instantly because "can't get a lock" Mass Effect 3 Vanguard is: biotic pinball and all the enemies are the pinball machine. I favor the ME1 version. It's decent run and gun without the irritation of ME2 and the OP powers of 3. I never did like any of the mass effect cover systems besides because it is hard to use and often exposes me to be shot at from people I'm not even trying to attack.

My last run I fully embraced the vanguard life and did some charge/melee maxxing

Having trouble doing this on my insanity run early game. Any time I get too aggressive with the charge, the other enemies around me kill me before I have the CD back up, even with level 6 charge and +85% recharge from weight

Playing an Insanity Vanguard only run of the trilogy and its a rollercoaster of emotions. ME1- *Barrier on * I am a biotic GOD ME2 - when I hear "can't get a lock" ONE MORE TIME!... ME3- I never want this to end

I envision myself slowly fading away in my wife's embrace and my children with grandchildren around. The sun cast its last sunbeams on my wrinkled face as I look out of my panoramic windows at the beautiful snowy Alps. Warm tears are trickling down my cheeks as I realize I made it, I completed my story on my own terms, I became a night city legend and stayed with Aldecados at the same time. And then it goes: A thing of beauty....I know...Will never... But the peculiar part is that this song hit me the most when I completed the Devil's ending cyberpunk. When V was lying flat on the bed as Arasaka were gearing up to extract his soul to Mikoshi so as to make him their poppet got in my nerve and made me sick at heart. I'm sure all of us have such an ending in our story and if we make wrong decisions we'll end up on our deathbed hopeless and regretful of our actions.

My only true Vanguard wield Claymore whenever it's available, anything else are Sub-Vanguard.
