Win rates vs podiums really demonstrates win rates aren't everything. I've been thinking intercession are fairly weak recently based off their win rates, but they still seem to be performing fairly well when it comes to podiums.

Our (very local and small KT group) has a guy playing BoK and he absolutely ran over the Nightlords/Intercession player 3-0 back to back. Not statistically significant or meaningful, but it felt good to see dude get Rekt lol

Have similar issue like you .. I am just drawn to underdogs, and feel bad playing what everyone else are. I'm usually sorting scores first by games/players playing them, only then going from bottom checking what does still have reasonable winrate and is something I would like to play.

40K and its adjacent tabletop games always have trouble getting elite factions/teams right. We are currently in a spot where space marine and Co. battleline has significantly worse points-efficiency compared to any other faction. Kill team does it better, but at a high skill level elite teams cannot keep up performance-wise with the others.

Am I blind or are Kommandos just not present in the stats at all?

Cheers for this! I don't follow KT that closely, but I always love to see it, as I'm starting to get more into skirmish stuff (returned to Necromunda recently - much prefer it to 40K), and seeing what's happening in the tournament/competitive scene definitely helps!

Loving the video. As an aside I do wish there was an easier way to access discontinued factions. I have recently started looking for a hobby to take some of the pressure from magic (wotc's release schedule has gotten to be far too overwhelming for me) and I remembered I enjoyed Warmachine as a spectator. With more free time I thought I might pick it up again but currently the main line factions aren't my cup of tea. Hopefully the infernals get a second release, I thought they were super cool.

Do you have any tips for playing Mono-scorpions? I didnt think I would get them until i played against them, and their aspects, the stealth, the brutality fascinates me, but only their aspects. People keep telling me, I would be putting myself at a disadvantage playing mono and discourage me doing so. So tips please?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the change for the Theyn, is that only the first time it takes damage in the whole game because it says "the first time during the battle"? Maybe I'm just reading it wrong. It only happening once seems kinda lame and something easily missed.

I may have understood you wrong, but how I read the Felgor Reckless Det. change is that you CANT be in cover to benefit from it. I.e. you cant get 2 automatic saves if youve already activated and are in cover, now its just a "if youre in the open you get a free cover save". Def a mild feels bad when I just got my Ravagers in the mail yesterday.

3:55 you missed the change to Legionary, now the ROSTER can contain all 4 marks, but the TEAM can't have the disallowed pairs. EDIT: nvm you got to it 3 minutes later.

Completely agree with your comment regarding rosters in this edition. I guess the idea of not having them in one of their game systems was too weird for gw.
