I’ve seen her do the show 3 times now and she is absolutely incredible. Her acting choices are so believable and heartbreaking. And her voice is so powerful and mesmerizing

They have the looks , the mannerisms , the voices and the music absolutely spot on. I wasnt old enough to experience the Beatles, this is as close as it comes i think for someone like me!

@@squintyt4e_2 Hey man...SO glad you responded to such an old post...I live maybe 5 miles from Wes...used to watch him 4-5 a month in Riverview Fl before he landed the Vertical Horizon gig...being a HUGE PT fan, then finding out the lead guitarist on tour lived 10 minutes away and played often was just crazy...crazy... You seem to know Wes well...if you do, you should reach out and catch up with him as I bet he'd love to hear from you...I'm Brian... If your local, would be great to meet up somewhere around Tampa... Pls stay in touch...I try to bother Wes every couple of weeks and will tell him you said Hello! -

Man the opening of this song is so 'funky' with the notes I imagine it would be very difficult to recreate! Sounds great!

John always regretted this song saying that it was his least favourite (Rolling Stone 1970). The Beatles never played it live. I wonder why.

I am ashamed that this song speaks to me so much that I have never sought out any of her other songs. Sometimes someone puts into words something that you yourself cannot articulate in a way that it becomes a Hallmark Card you cherish! The best Elphaba I have ever heard, and the best acted. No one will ever come close; just outstanding. Going to be in New York in July 2025. GOD, I really hope she will be on Broadway. I’m sure she will be by then!!!!

Saw them a few days earlier at Toads Place in New Haven, which they also ripped, and it was my 3rd time seeing them and the whole band is still so dialed in, their talents effortless. One of the best examples of consistency in this genre of music. 👌

Saw them in 2000 here in Brazil. Small venue, they got onstage through the crowd, shook hands with everyone of the guys as they were climbing to the stage. Such great memories! Still have that tour t-shirt (and it still fits 😅) Rock on, guys!! 🤘
