My limiting belief was that I am an emotional eater! I decided that was no longer the story I wanted to tell myself and it has really made a difference in the way I interact with food!

Just wanted to say thanks for making these videos. I found you a couple weeks ago and it’s just what I need as a busy mom who wants to work towards different goals but struggles with consistency since kids are unpredictable! Your advice feels doable and motivating…which isn’t always the case for me since I have 3 little ones.♥️

Love this video, very well thought out and everything is so actionable! I'm definitely embracing a flowy schedule right now. Doing what I can, when I can. I've just started a new KZbin channel (all about rediscovering yourself as a mom), and that's my big goal for this month. Create, post & grow!

I feel like it is important to be realistic and that realism may sound like pessimism or negative self talk. To me the truth is the factors of our life CAN make consistency hard. I LOVE working out. I was consistent at some point in my life but not now. I go to bed late because I have a lot to do which makes me too tired to wake up early or I stay up late bc I’m worried about all the stuff I have to do. People’s work schedule, how many children they have, the gender of their children, their children’s education and health, how invested grandparents are…whether the grandparents are living or not or are healthy enough to pitch in….all these factors fit within the formula of motherhood. 😢 I honestly am ready to give up but maybe tonight I should just get a good night’s rest and wake up and read God’s word. I don’t make goals anymore because full transparency I feel like they are unreachable. BUT this was an amazing video and I love your tips. Thank you for sharing ❤

This is so well said and I absolutely agree that our circumstances impact our ability to be consistent! Our daughter had heart surgery at 2 months and you better believe I wasn't doing anything during that season other than just surviving. All of our individual experiences make our journey(s) towards our goals unique and challenging in their own way - my hope for the video is just to provide some helpful tips for how to navigate those challenges where possible. :) And yes, sounds like this is a season of just taking care of yourself and your soul which is a super important goal in and of itself! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts! <3

Still binging your videos. Seriously think that this vid should be way more popular than it actually is! You're full of gems and so relatable - again, thanks for being a real mom showing realistic tips ❤ I took notes 😂 Mindset Shifts - All or nothing = NOPE. Working out and healthy is not a one size fits all thing. Workouts don't have to be 60 minutes long. Meal prep doesn’t have to be boring food. - Fitness isn't just a selfish/self care activity. It benefits everyone in the family. Practical Steps - Shorter workouts, but strategic. - NEAT. We burn calories all day doing regular mom stuff. Increase those little things we do. A cool study showed that moving a little every hour vs a lot after a long sedentary day is actually more beneficial. Maximize Weekends - Dedicate a little more time to a workout (take a class, etc). - Include family in the movement (ex: bike ride, hike). Family Inclusive Workouts - bike ride - hike - include kids in the workouts Time Saving Tips - Schedule it... it needs to be scheduled and on your schedule! Be intentional. - Plan what you're going to do BEFORE you do it. Take away the mental load, decide what you're going to do, follow a plan. At Home Workout Gear - Invest in your at home workout stuff, ex: dumbbells, resistance bands, walking pad, etc. You can get multi ones like adjustable dumbbells.

I am so glad someone finally admits it in such a natural way😊 I think I have such a hard time during motherhood because of the false idea I had for the whole thing. Everyone everywhere is constantly telling you how it is the most amazing time, it is so easy, you chilling woth your child, then you will want to have 10 more etc, etc. Well, it is not easy, it is easy only if you have many people around helping you, but if you and your partner are doing it alone, then it is the hardest thing I have done in my life. And for me, it was not all the other chores I had to do but the lack of time, lack of predictability, lack of control over my life, the fact that I became a slave to this little human who needs me 24/7 and I could mot do the things that made ME happy anymore. And the fact that it lasts years plus tha fact I love working and I want to work but then I have to work and be a 24/7 mother which is even more exhausting. And the worst part was and still is that it is like I stopped being a person by myself and become only a mother. No one asks how i feel, what i need etc. And all that shock was cuz no one warned me how hard actually is to take care of a child. Sure, she is the most precious thing in my life, I cant imagine her not being around me, but this does not automatically make it a wonderful exerience.

Your videos make me feel like I’m just sitting down and having a coffee with a friend. I’m 32, my girls are 3 and 5 months old. I’m ready to start my ‘fitness’ journey, not because I want my pre-pregnancy body back but because I want to be able to run around easily after my grandchildren and I know I need to start setting the foundations now.

I'm so glad this video popped up on my homepage! I'm a mom of two under two (had my baby a month ago) and it's been quite an adjustment with the new baby. I've been struggling with all the new changes, trying to find balance and be a better mom because I feel like I haven't been the best mom. I'm giving myself this new year to reinvent myself because I feel like I'm just so lost in this "identity" thing. I absolutely love being a mom, but I don't want it to be my whole entire image. It's been so hard to find people that I can relate with so I'm glad I came across your channel and taking this as a sign that this coming year will be my year. <3

I’m so focused on asking myself “What are we having for dinner for the entire week”🤔…When I usually can’t even answer my children when they ask “What’s for dinner tonight mama?” I get caught up in what job can I look for so that after this one that k have now will be a better one and if I finish the degree I started a long time ago how can that help me in that next job…instead on focusing TOTALLY on the job I have now. Grounded is what I need to be. 💯 without a doubt I resonated with the last part of your video.
