Sorry for no updates yet but i will try my best to get back on the project this fall/winter and have it ready for next summer! Thanks for the Sub

When you switch from prime to paint, it's important not to have the motor running as this will eventually damage the switch. Also reversing the tip still lets material flow through the tip and causing excessive wear through the tip when in actuality you can just remove the tip being very careful not to have any direct injection by the spray of the material and it will cycle through a lot faster.

Can I ask is it easy to set up an excavating business up in the USA? Any crazy hoops you have to jump through? That's a beauty of a machine...I used a 1.7 ton machine recently, I think it had a 2-1/2' clean up bucket which was awesome...I was so impressed with working tight quarters with that size machine. Whats a rough price for a unit like that in the states? I'm a Canadian looking at starting a business in USA and need to invest 70 to 100k for a visa. Thx for any advice!
@MattFreytag
@MattFreytag Ай бұрын
I don’t really have an excavation business just a general construction biz. I just bought this to use for my typical jobs such as paver patios, redoing driveways, remodeling, etc. This machine is in the low 30’s. Depending on the state you are in would determine the laws for licensing for your business. Here in TN i would just think a typical business license and proper insurances would be sufficient.

Do you have to roll the paint to after spraying or just the primer?
@MattFreytag
@MattFreytag 2 ай бұрын
You don’t have to roll at all depending on the quality finish you want. The sprayer doesn’t typically spray a perfectly even coat so the roller helps even out the coat and add a slight roller stipple texture to make it easier to touch up later. Thanks.
