I am so pleased to have found you. I did an inventory of all my makeup and skincare and put the value as well. I now have a $$$ total - very sobering. I am going on a no buy this year and trying to use up what I have and give away anything I am not using. I have a local No Buy group I give away my makeup in once a month. I really really need to reduce my collection - but u agree I need to USE my products!!

also love this palette the star packaging is so good! my pan that palette is Melt Gemini which i got in 2019 😅 and i also have a byop of colourpop singles! and one more tiny palette of 4 more singles 😂 it’s fine everything is fine i’ll be fine

Excited for you this seems like it would be fun and also easier to use than the coconuts palette. I made my palette for January of the 9 pan of singles I am going to focus on. If last year taught me anything I can mix and layer so many different things and have fun doing it and not stress myself out if I hit the ground running. All singles used 5x again and also no pan left behind again. I am hoping that once I do that I can pick a couple palettes to hone in on usage wise to hopefully get more pans and give love to older things. I have 3 Mac singles and I want pan on the last two and again the rules are the same if I decide a palette doesn't serve me I can declutter it or sell it but nothing is safe. I am pretty excited also. The new year always brings a fresh energy.

I’ve tried to do a pan that palette twice and failed both times cuz I found it to be boring but I am doing pan those eyeshadows and I’m using project level up as a pan that palette replacement this year so hopefully that will go better for me

You've done well this year! Happy New year! It's officially Jan 1st 2025 here for me, so my no buy/low buy bank is officially in effect. :) I've decided that anything arriving from purchases made in 2024 doesn't count, and given my inability to hit pan in pretty much anything i've also decided to give myself a starting surplus of points (20) to help counteract the inevitable purchase of something throughout the year. 😅 The last time I did a points based no-buy/low buy system I ended up in like -2000 something. 😅 I feel the addition of the no pan left behind challenge will be a big benefit to me this year to help me make back points. :) Can't wait to see what you come up with this year!

I am making some big changes, I have unsubscribed from so many makeup channels, and I am switching my viewing content to panners. I am going to unfollow a lot of people on Instagram and use photos only for inspiration. I have over 400 eyeshadow palettes and that is not even my singles collection! I need to do a deep dive, and see what brands and palettes I actually love. I know that this sounds crazy even to me, to try and get to 200 palettes. I have more makeup than anyone could ever use. I am just not going to declutter, I want it to be a slow process in 2025. With my collection, I should be able to dupe whatever is released in 2025. I am going to allow myself 1 makeup product a month.

The eye bank has truly been life changing for me, it’s made me think through my purchases way more and reduce impulsivity while also making me realise I have a TON of eyeshadows that I love and using them to hit the goals is so fun

You got yourself out of the hole and made such good progress way to go! As of this week I think Christmas Eve I was able to hit my 5x on all my singles. It was a push for sure but I will do it again and try to really hit the ground running in January as I didn't focus seriously on that goal till like mid way through the year. I think for me what I want to do is have a 25 point threshold I need to meet before I can buy a new palette. If I have a really good month with usage I can earn a palette but if I am not then I don't have any business buying something new. That I think will mean I am smart and I can bank the points if I don't use them.

Omg nooo! That's good to know though! I haven't opened it. So I'm hoping the factory seal keeps it leak free. I'll make sure to pull it and leave it standing once I open it. It'll be a "immediately pan unless allergic"

The only thing I didn't successfully use last year that is lingering is in my project pan I will finish it this year. It's a fancy little tub of bath salts that I bought a few years ago if that makes you feel better. It's mostly excess hair and body stuff currently but a tiny bit of makeup I got in mid December. I had to talk myself out of buying so much yesterday due to the fact that I am making a list of things to pan and I was like girl you don't need another X thing.

I definitely went hog wild this year. I'm still waiting on a package that'll come in January I think, but my plan is to do at least 6 month not purchasing next year (not consecutive months though...)

@lauraforce I had to ease myself into a complete no buy. And I now am very choosy of what I want. I use to be an impulse buyer and my collection got out of control. So this was a must. And I still haven't used all my makeup. It's so eye opening. My hardest item to not buy was eyeshadow palettes. I still get triggered at new releases lol. But feel proud when I don't actually buy them. I've really enjoyed watched you do NPLB and trying to use shades 10 times to give yourself points to buy new shadows. 😁

This is exactly what I needed to hear. I'm so torn because I want to pan it and get it out, but the thought of committing myself to a highlight I'm not super into makes me dread it. My thought was to try and incorporate it into a PTP at some point next year. But maybe I can still do that without putting it on a list

I've actually been wanting to chop 6 inches again. Get rid of all th3 bleached bits at the end. I actually had cut to the "lob" is length around June this past year. It just grows so fast. 🍊💕

This look with the top is making you glow so good! And I appreciate that you had that lofty goal for highlighter it made me feel better about trying to finish a face palette quad. I knocked out the bronzer and finished the highlight except for what smashed on the floor but the blushes are still going strong no pan but huge dips and 84 tracked usage. I think if I use it between 5 and 10 more times I can get the pan. I also was unable to finish my lipstick but it's now to the 1/3 left and man oh man did I try. Oh and the ND eyeshadow that is going on my list for next year to finish. So 21/25 ain't bad I would say and I rolled in so many more items that I finished over the year so I say cheers to our success! I am invested in that highlight trio's progress now btw!

Omg thank you so much for the compliment 🍊❤️🧡 I kow its always rewarding and fu. To see items get finished, but the truth is... sometimes they don't and honestly most the time they don't and it takes a l9ng time to use products like that! I used to Franken body lotions with highlight all the time and kind of got away from it, that's what used a LOT of highlight in the past. Hey a face palette is hard and you did INCREDIBLE! You fi wished a bronzer and highlight!? Sometimes gravity helps us out with panning 😂 most the time i just see it as wasted money (I say as I unexpectedly panned a full bottle of Ripley's insulin yesterday this exact way 😭) Holy smokes 84 uses! Doesn't it just suck when youre like IM PUTTING THE EFFORT IN WHY NO PAN!?! I am doing a somewhat trial ru. The next couple weeks to see if i can commit to the palette i am picking for PTP next year. I truly cannot wait to start using it and seeing if I can if I can finish it What ND shade are you gonna finish next year??

@@lauraforce No Ridley's medication is way worse than like the remainder of my highlight OMG. Nightmare. And yes sometimes it does suck when you are going toe to toe with a stubborn product! I am now at 85 uses on those blushes because Christmas Eve we went to have a family dinner so all the multi chromes and those blushes came out. I am aiming to finish those blushes in 2025 and I have a deluxe sized shade from retro hello that I am aiming to finish and I am determined on all three!

Everything's a moving target 😂 But panning, I think I'm going to make my list and try and check as much off as possible next year. I'm being a bit overzealous and have a separate list for face products vs. Eye and lip products right now. Thata where I'm thinking I may be overkill right now lol

Happy holidays! I did purchase any new in 2024. My low buy went great. Just refilled my moisturizer and got one perfume (ellis sunfruit) and lip gloss ( Juvia's place).

Watching you do this project has had me constantly using my Going Coconuts palette this year. Currently only have pan in Shredded, Get Crackin, and Nutty.... maybe by next year I will have them all panned, but Lovely Bunch will probably be my version of Shell Yeah.

I remember rolling Lovely Bunch into a PTES and then rolling it OUT with a crater and no pan. The mattes are either powdery/fluffy or SO UNBEARABLY DENSE. 🥲 you got this though! Every use is a step in the direction of seeing that shiny shiny pan 🍳

I definitely felt much better about doing PTP this year, i think having rotating shades helped keep it interesting for me,though. I cannot wait for my PTP for 2025. 😁😁

Congratulations!! This is amazing!! I am considering doing something like this for 2025, but with nearly 1000 eyeshadow pans + creams + pigments I know I won't succeed in using EVERYTHING. 2025, and potentially 2026, is going to be the year of rotation for me. I'm going to be randomly selecting items to use 3 times to see if I will keep them or not. If I don't, then it gets decluttered. I'm hoping to really get a feel for some products this way by pulling one item at a time, and then organising looks around that product for a couple of days. Will I hit any pans? I honestly don't think I will, but this way i've got something to focus on to stop me bringing in more during my no buy.
