It's really pretty, it's definitely one of the creamier formulas of the Shockwave liners (the purple - viid i think and grass green (lucky maybe??) were let downs)

Sounds like you might be allergic to an ingredient in the Fenty gloss. When I wear something I’m allergic to my lips get super chapped and it’s uncomfortable. If it’s super glossy you like, there are some Asian beauty brand formulas you might love. Glasting gloss formulas get shinier and smooth out after you apply them and look so good.

I hated the butter glosses as well wanted it out of my collection so badly i used it up in about 3 months ( with about 200 uses in the project - it was the gloss in the shade Honey I believe, it was too light anyway) but I bought a butter gloss in the shade Rocky Road because i wanted a subtle red for the office and it was lovely. So yeah interesting that other people also don’t like it, I think it’s because I expected a different opacity and got a light wash of color and a comfortable gloss ( In Eastern Europe it is SO expensive it’s insane so i might not repurchase but I’m enjoying what I have

I'm so happy there's someone else that can't stand the butter glosses, too! I just don't like the formula, the shade is fine, but I think i just like a thicker formula, they don't feel like they moce around as much! Did you like the red shade more than the nude??

@ weirdly yes! It’s sheer enough that it doesn’t look overwhelming for work, I use Nyx cold brew and that combo is divine although my office is more lenient than most so anything less than a colorful cut crease and lots of glitter is ok I think
