Hey Kiwi, just wanted to say you've been a big inspiration ! I've been following you since you first started your channel, and I found you through your 1st Noodle speedpaint. You've always been an amazing artist, but I'm still so proud of how far you've come <3 You just KEEP improving !

Also a note for apple users, be sure to have enough space for the speedpaint, otherwise the screen recorder will crop out a huge part of the speedpaint, I learnt it the hard way ;-;

God I tried using OBS today and did not know what to do. I tried watching videos for help to not even understanding that. Soooo had to download something else. And I will try movie maker tomorrow! My windows is a 14s (I believe) and that computer acts like it can’t hold data and runs so slowly if running a software like OBS

After all this time, I remembered again what contribution you as an artist have made to my life. And now, as I write this letter of gratitude, I am overwhelmed with inspiration and a lot of memories. I used to study by watching your work, then (three years have passed from this situation)I have protected your copyrights on the territory of my country, because few people observe them on the territory of the CIS (unless it concerns people who have money to track these things). Now, I am still amazed by your stylization skills and I hope that I can also learn such a skill of expressiveness!(sorry if something is not quite clear. I wrote through a translator, because of my low language skills)

I was just listening to something about giraffes. You really have become a master of shape and light. I’ve always loved the shadows cast by eyelashes. There’s something so sharp yet subtle about them. This color palette was really well balanced. Cohesive and good value spread. Also, I find it interesting how you painted in the background instead of doing a bucket fill. Is there a reason for that, like adding subtle texture, or is it just a workflow preference?
@KiwiByrd Жыл бұрын
thank you so much, great comment as always!! i just like to do the actual coloring and think it's fun, which is why I prefer a big brush to the bucket tool :D

Hey! I saw you clicking the sidebar to move up and down a lot. This might speed you up: Hold spacebar and drag your stylus across the screen in the direction you want, then release. (This temporarily switches to the hand tool) For zooming in and out it's: Ctrl or Command then the + or - You probably already know these, but I think you used to use a different program for a long time. These are what I use. I just program them to a key on my pen or wherever is comfortable. Pretty sure that's right anyway. I don't click the specific keys everytime since it's already programmed, so I might be a little off. Also that's just me. Sometimes it feels better to do it manually and that's okay too! You are one of my favorite artists love this btw! ❤

How were you THAT talented at 12-13 years old?! These are all still very impressive! Your art style during that time period is the exact style that I had been trying (and failing, lol) to emulate at that age. 12-year-old me is losing their mind with jealousy rn lmao I’ve enjoyed your work for years now, and watching this made me want to be kinder to my younger self’s work-and inspires me to go back and redo some of my older pieces! Thank you for sharing with us. ❤

If the face was being drawn facing to the right like at 14:30 wouldn't the eyes be further to the left since the eyes are usually sunk further back into the eye sockets instead of resting right on the face? This was a bit confusing for me. Great video btw, really helpful!
