I was surprised to see you using Photoshop instead of SAI(?)! I hope you’re enjoying the program. Drawing long, flowing straight hair has always been a struggle for me, but I really like the way you have it as fundamentally a few shapes with the refined details like parts and overlapping coming later. It’s odd ‘cause that “simple-to-complex” design philosophy is something I always enjoy seeing, but it never registered that I should use it in this circumstance. The repeated motif of the little sparkles on the knife at the bottom of the picture is a nice touch. c:
