I still have much interest in enjoying the sound of German languages in this animation. Much appreciated if someone would show me exactly what Reinhard and his admirals are saying with their wine glasses. "Jawohl!" "Auf die ????" insted of Prosit.

They say "Auf die Vergeltung". This can be translated as "To vengeance" or "To retribution". "Vergeltung" is a term that is mostly used in the legal system today in relation to the punishment of criminals. Alternatively, it can also mean revenge. In this context, they swear that the Alliance will receive the "rightful" punishment for opposing the Empire. The dub probably wanted to sound serious with the use of this term, while in the same scene Oberstein says: "We will reduce their army, fleet by fleet, to space junk that you might think they never existed."

@@godzillamothra5983 Or Sieg for Annerose. (I still think they made some time between the Kaiser's death and the start of the Lipstadt war proper. Might be interesting fanfic fodder if she had one and hid him, worried about Reinhard's enemies (Or even allies, Oberstein would NOT want a kid that could be a competing dynastic figurehead he was too singleminded on one Kaiser, one Dynasty.)

I believe that if Reinhard had never been born Reuenthal would have taken over the Empire and done almost as good of a job.Really adds to the character’s tragedy. Almost the greatest but has the misfortune to be alive at the one point in history where someone is greater

To be honest, the last two episodes of Season 2 almost made me cry because the burial stone of Siegfried reads simply two words "My Friend" but it hurts hard and that Reinhard lost his childhood friend and best friend and his sister breaking ties with him for a short time almost made me cry
